I really have no idea how I got so out of my league with her. Somehow she managed to teach me to ballroom dance, and now we're dating. If this is a dream, don't pinch me. Really. Don't. She'll probably punch you.
My big sweetheart of a boyfriend. Met him in a ballroom dancing class and taught him to be less clumsy. Love everything about him. He’s just so big and cuddly, and mmm, that deep voice of his~
Nice girl, but you do not want to get on her bad side. She can't say a word, but she knows how to wield all them kitchen knives. Plus when Portia's with her she gets even sassier with the added verbal aspect.
Believe me when I say I was very skeptical about this guy being good at ballroom dancing. Portia's a better teacher than I thought. He doesn't have the confidence to survive in the industry, but he's got the skills and resolve to keep all our performances running smoothly. Plus it's nice to have someone on the team who isn't over the top or an asshole.
A bit young to be a quarterback in most cases, but it's not like our team is conventional in any sense. Plus he's certainly got the skills for it, and he's the only football player I've ever seen that apologizes to anyone he bumps into. Don't get me started on how many lunches he'll offer to buy you if he tackles you.
Glad to know I'm not the only nice guy on the football field. Always have to make sure my throws are on point when he's around. Don't want to risk any head injuries. Kind of a weird thing to say about football general, but since when was our team not weird?
Oh lord, what has Portia gotten me into? I can't keep up with half the stuff this guy says and does, but I guess it is pretty dazzling. And with my memory problems I surprisingly never have issue recalling all his unforgettable acts.
Oh, a new initiate into the wonders of theater and arts. It'll take all I have to not completely blow his mind into a glorious fireworks display of wonder with my immeasurable dazzle-tude.
Oh, I know what she means by now. I mean, she flirts with the math teacher all the time. Kind of useless to be jealous by now.
Uh... don't takes things the wrong way when your girlfriend talks about wanting my body. It's not what it sounds like.
Mr. Garland sometimes falls asleep during class... and he sometimes falls asleep during our tutoring sessions. I've gotten used to waking him up when I have questions, but I think I'm doing a little better at the content... I used to have to keep him awake the whole time.
Hal requires a little extra attention for him to keep up with the material sometimes, but it's not a matter of him not trying hard enough. Yeah, I don't mind giving him the help of course, but I try not to remind myself how I could be spending that tutoring time catching up on sleep instead...
Uh, well when you put it that way, maybe you should invest more time into volleyball instead...
If you didn't have to worry about head injuries, you'd probably be great at football. But nope, we all get to play and risk permanent brain damage like a bunch of idiots. Lucky us.
Jack seems a little weird on a glance, but he's a really nice teacher. I didn't really have interest in band as a kid, but I wanted to at least try it since it's one of Portia's interests. He really helped me catch up with those missed years most of the other kids have, and while I wouldn't say I'm great, I think I've gotten the hang of things.
Hal only started taking band classes after Portia suggested it. He had a little trouble at first remembering all the fingerings and figuring out reading music, but it was nothing a bit of extra tutoring didn't smooth out. He's one of my best baritone players now, and he's the only one who's not obnoxious.
I used to think Principal Ryfax was scary when I was a kid, but I got over it pretty quickly. He and the other staff members have been really nice about helping me get back on track with school since the accident.
Hal was such a bright student in his youth, but it was disheartening to see how hard his family was pushing him. We’ve been doing what we can to help him along, and he seems more at ease now.
Is it weird if I'm a little jealous he can take so many head injuries and walk away just fine, but I take one and end up in a coma and have lasting memory issues? That doesn't sound like a thing to be jealous of...
I wonder why I can get hit by cars no problem but it's a big deal for everyone else. It doesn't really seem fair, but maybe it's balanced out by how often I do get hit by them. I mean, if I can get run over in place of anyone else, then sure. That sounds fine.
Hal fits in with the team even if he doesn’t actually play with us. I bet he’d do fine if he could, but that’s not going to happen. Nah, he gets to watch us unnecessarily concuss ourselves from the sidelines.
Uh... which one was Lily again? I don't always remember everyone in our class.
Hal has interest. I wonder how trustworthy he would be if he forgets things so easily.
I wasn’t that close of friends with Cameron before she transitioned, so honestly sometimes I don’t remember her ever being “a guy” in those previous years at school. At least she finds it funny.
Hal is always pretty quiet, but he’s a nice guy. We’ve talked more since he started assisting for the football team and became friends with some of my other friends. Even though he doesn’t talk much, I think he’s pretty funny.
