Vy'kelrin

Vy'kelrin is a Torrik currently wandering with the Bloodhearts, originally from the Shattered Vale. As a Torrik, she is accustomed to war and violence, and unquestioningly followed the way of the warrior for several years- until, in the war with the centaurs, her mentor was shot down by an arrow. Consumed by grief, she slowly began to realize how pointless this all was, and disillusioned and pessimistic, she fled the battlefield, hiding away in the sparse forests of the Vale. Within them, she encountered the equally-exhausted Balius, and the two found solace in each other and befriended each other. Soon after, however, Vy'kelrin was arrested for befriending the enemy. It was Balius who broke her out, and with each other's help, the two escaped the Vale and set off through Neo Skylands on a search for a new home. They eventually settled down with the Bloodhearts and now live in the Drifter's Refuge with the group.

Vy'kelrin is quiet, stoic and to-the-point, being a woman of few words who's not particularly chatty except with the people she likes the most. She always looks a bit exhausted and drained- reasonably, since she's been through quite a lot. She can be short-tempered and hostile at times- she's definitely still a Torrik, even after all that's happened- but she has a bigger heart than most and plenty of love for the rest of the Bloodhearts. She is especially fond of Vanna, with the two having a vitriolic-best-buds relationship and occasionally getting into (VERY one-sided) sparring matches. In a behavior pattern very much unlike that of other Torriks, she abhors violence and tries to avoid it as much as she can, seeing it as simply making a bad situation worse and as something that can only cause pain and suffering, but if push comes to shove and she has to fight, there's very little that can defeat her.

The hammer she wields originally belonged to her mentor; she can't bring herself to let go of it.
