Valtteri 'Luka' Kovac

The only one of Kovac children to take after their mother in the slightest, but still Luka doesn't look much like her past his face shape and hair colour. He has short mousey brown hair that he typically brushes back, golden brown eyes, and a slight olive skin tone. He has several beauty marks on his face. Like both alps and werewolves Luka’s canine teeth are pronounced. His eyes do have a tapetum lucidum so they do appear to 'glow' when light hits them right.

His clothes are expensive, befitting someone with his family's legacy as well as his job position as a stenographer for the courts. Luka walks with a pronounced limp, occasionally using a cane when walking unassisted is too painful. He is known for sitting very still and quiet, often getting overlooked and forgotten.

The disappointment of his father. And what's worse, Luka is sure everybody knows it. Not naturally talented like his brothers, piss poor at magic, physically weak, Luka has never been quite good enough at anything he tries. Luka is used to constant, intense supervision, having all of life paths picked out for him to make up for his shortcomings. In the end, making him nothing but a passive doormat with no goals as he feels like there isn't much of a point, it never matters what he wants.

Luka struggles to stick to any hobby or interest. This week he's into book binding, the next it's bird watching. He has a surface knowledge about a lot of things, but is by no means an expert or even proficient in anything he has ever gotten into. He typically bails on whatever he's learning after about a month or two. Luka struggles to stick to most choices he makes. Really the only constant thing about him is his job. He will get into relationships and friendships then hem and haw if he actually wants to get close to the person and wind up ruining the relationship due to his hesitation.

Gentle, Luka tries very hard to live his religion's tenant of act in goodness as he feels like he's failing to have a purpose and at least wants to be beneficial to his community in some way. Luka wishes people will see him as kind even if he fails to meet most expectations. A sensitive individual, Luka takes criticism personally even if he doesn't show it at the time, and will cry about it later in private.
