The Petty Thief

Formerly a quarryman, the Petty Thief spent the better part of his life working under contract for a quarrying company that dealt primarily in slate for roofs, kitchen sinks, tombstones etcetera. He made underwhelming wages and the work was dangerous in several ways, as a father of three and husband to a wife he worried what would become of them if something happened to him as well as feeling decades of hard labor catching up to him physically. Not particularly the optimistic type, he spent many sleepless nights wondering how sustainable his life was as it stood. In an attempt to build a more secure foundation for himself and his family (and truthfully quell some of his building cynicism and spite) the man began to find ways to get more out of his situation. He never felt a sense of loyalty to his employers as they operated independently from the quarriers and had minimal contact aside from addressing employee injury and giving out pay. 

Among his many other ventures he began to go to the quarries at night (especially during snow season when work was suspended) to cut off the best and most well shaped mineral slabs to clean up himself and sell without the company taking its cut. He would keep an eye out for pockets of polychirium laced ore to mine and sell to craft workers and alchemists. He would strip copper and other valuable metals off of equipment from the jobsite. It was grueling and exhausting since he still worked regularly during the day and was a father to his children when he got home but he is nothing if not persistent. Unfortunately he couldnt keep up the deception and was fired as well as made an example of and has since abandoned his home to avoid imprisonment. He currently gets by doing odd jobs for strangers and moving around often and has been on the lamb for a few years now. Hes prone to cynicism and bitterness but tries to keep it to himself, and feels as though all he can do is make the best of what he has left.

His bounty isnt a particularly hefty one but he has an additional reward on his head from his fellow quarrymen as they were punished for not catching onto his theft. Additionally he is incredibly in debt but has been successfully avoiding debtors who recognize him. Help him lol,
