The world of Impar is a different world compared to Pokémon World. As it stands, the world of Impar is one that is not only filled with Pokémon and humans. Oh no. Demons, angels and all kinds of oddities exist within this universe. However, to avoid disturbing the order of the world, these beings keep themselves in realms that rest opposite of Impar, only visiting the realm if they wish to explore the unknown. However, one has to wonder how Impar itself was created. We do know Arceus and Mew were involved in the process, but few are aware of what created this world. There are theories, but most are proven wrong. The answer itself is quite simple.

The plates are how the world was created.

These elemental spirits gave the ingredients needed for a world to be born. Their mere presence inspired the world to adapt to what was needed. They gave Pokemon their type and the legends that once held them the powers they would be known for. However, for decades, many regarded these spirits as nothing more than tools for Arceus. They thought that they lacked sentience and the ability to feel human emotions. These mortals were wrong in their assumption. Oh, so wrong.

Here we have Hyde. He's the black sheep of the plates, but he isn't too bothered by it. He is the last of the plates to be created and is one of the strongest around due to his chaos manipulation. Hyde was once known as the Blank Plate and had the title of the Normal Spirit. However, something changed him. Something caused to embrace the chaotic nature of the world and goes against what he supposed to be. This 'thing' would cause the male to strip away his old name and become the Chaotic Plate (or ??? Plate) and gain the title of ??? Spirit.

His name was Henry. At least that's what Arceus told him when he opened his eyes. Henry was born from the warmth of Arceus' heart and Coarrl [Normal Type Primal]. Being Coarll's champion, Henry was the Blank Plate. What was the purpose of his creation? He was to serve as Arceus' eyes of the world. Henry was different from his setmates (Draco and Toxic). He wasn't as wild and unruly as the other two. Much like Arceus, Henry was rational and traditional with a goal to ensure there was order in the world. He was able to walk amongst the mortals with ease as he appeared natural to them. He knew how to blend in and learn more about the world without doing anything that would alarm the mortals. Back then, they were jittery when it came to the Gods and the unknown to the point they would often lash out whenever they felt endangered. This is proven by how the mortals were responsible for the 'deaths' of several plates.

When it came to Henry's relationship with the plates, the plates were quite fond of the male. Perhaps it was because of the male's knack of bringing a smile on their face with his jokes and whatnot. Draco and Toxic were particularly close with Henry, with the two being created within the same set as the male and being older 'siblings' to the male. It was no surprise the two would often tease the male about how average he was. Henry wasn't bothered by this, as he never saw being average as being bad. Seeing how being who he was helping his Creator, he didn't see a need to change who he was.

In the years, Henry would fall in love with Ni (Mi's twin). It wasn't shocking. Whenever Ni wasn't with his sister, he was spending time with Henry. They would spend time talking about the information Henry discovered from walking with the mortals or how things were going with their respective jobs. Through their conversations, Ni often flirted with Henry, catching the normal plate off-guard and encouraging the male to learn more about the behavior. This led to Henry further studying mortal's behavior and accommodating it into his own, becoming more 'human' as a result. It wasn't long before the two would find themselves in a relationship. Granted, it was a secret affair as the idea of plates being in a romantic relationship was unusual. They didn't have the time to focus on such a thing. Behind closed doors, the two plates explored more of their forbidden love while falling deeper in love. Ni filled him with something that made him feel special, foreign, and quirky. In a way, he saw this as a way of being a bit of a rebel. It was something that Henry craved and wanted to have forever.

But all good things have to come to an end.

Ni was taken away from him. Not by Arceus. It was Zap. He wasn't sure why Zap did what he did, but the male went out of his way to kill Mea and Nor. He could have killed Mi as well if he hasn't arrived just in time with Ni. However, her wounds made it very clear that she was getting close to death. Not even the Jewel of Life could repair the damage done to her body. Ni knew this and made the decision that he felt was best for his sister's survival: fused himself with her. He knew his sister's feared dying and the concept of reincarnation. Once you came back, the memories of your previous life vanished. Ni wanted to spare his sister from dealing with that. He loved her and wanted her to remain who she was.

Henry didn't want to lose Ni. He was one of the few people that made him feel more than average. He didn't want the person he loved. Ni knew this and could only apologize to Henry. He didn't want to leave him, but the male didn't want his sister to suffer. Henry knew this, and it only brought him pain. In their last few minutes together, the two gave each other a silent embrace while whispering three words: I love you. Once the hugging stopped, Ni gave one final memento to Henry before he merged into Mi: his fan.

It broke Henry badly. With Ni's disappearance, Henry became filled with sorrow and remorse. That laidback nature of his became that of agitation as he lashed out at everyone who attempted to comfort him. He became irrational and overwhelmed by the human emotions he learned to mimic. However, his sorrow brought a wave of madness. Through his fractured mind, the male toyed with the idea of Ni still being alive and was playing a game with him. This game in question being hide and seek. Through his madness, he became chaotic, wild, and unnerving. He started to ramble about there being a God above Arceus that was acting as the puppeteer of the world, and they were responsible for causing Ni to go away. In his eyes, it was his duty to find them and destroy them. Coarrl attempted to yank him back to normality. They saw he was falling away from his destined path and wanted to prevent that. However, they failed and ended up being overwhelmed by his madness. Coarrl pushed Henry further down his delusions, feeding into his nonsense of the existence of a God above Arceus.

With Coarrl's encouragement, Henry tricked Giratina into holding him. He was a useful tool when it came to exploring the many realities that exist outside of time and space. When the legend held him, he took control of Giratina and fully gave into his madness. It's hard to tell if it was because of Giratina's (or Coarrl's) influence, but Henry wreck havoc on everything he can get his hands on. He wanted to cause as much chaos as he can. In his eyes, he thought that maybe this would draw out the bastard god that was keeping him away from his Ni. However, this brought the ire of Arceus and brought a battle that seriously harmed the God of Many Arms. If it wasn't for Mew, Henry could have done worst.

Despite this, Henry wasn't upset. No, he was joyful. The male never felt this level of excitement before, and he wanted more. There was something beautiful and powerful about chaos. It reminded him of Ni. Through his broken mind, he assumed that chaos was Ni in disguise, and the bastard God was giving the plate to him. In his eyes, he thought they were pleased with what he did. It inspired him to try to control the chaos to embrace his Ni. If he had to stop being normal to do so, so be it.

With no other choice, Mew forced Henry into a sealed container in hopes of preventing the male from continuing his current path. However, he never did stop. His stubbornness and Coarrl wouldn't allow him to do so. As he walked this path, he lost his title of normality, and Coarrl became one with the chaos. Coarrl became Coarrl-Taurlaur upon his transformation. Henry let chaos claim him and manipulate him into their vision. Chaos showed him about the beauty of things the order refused to show him. Chaos taught him their ways. Eventually, Henry forgot his original purpose to embrace chaos was to be with Ni. He was now doing it because it gave him power and freedom. Eventually, Henry will go away and become replaced with someone new: Hyde, the ??? Plate.

Hyde spent centuries trapped inside that sealed container. Even with his newfound powers, the male couldn't escape it. He wasn't bothered by it. He was spending his time learning more about chaos. He was waiting for the day he was free from his prison. That day would come in the form of a young man, Damian, releasing him from the prison. When freed, the male found himself standing in front of a group of teens and a weakened Arceus. He didn't question the circumstances behind this. In his eyes, it was none of his business. However, this didn't stop the male from messing with the group through whatever means necessary. He toyed with the emotions of the group by adding to the tension between them or taunting them by taking over Damian. The latter was something that he was considering doing permanently when he first laid eyes on Damian's boyfriend (Hikage). He fell in love with the male and was jealous that Damian managed to grab his affection. He did whatever he could to try to earn the admiration of the young male, but he failed. When Damian would (unintentionally) proposed to Hikage, Hyde's heart shattered.

There was a small part of Hyde that retained Henry's desire for love. It was one of the few things that he felt made him feel whole. His fellow plates looked at him differently ever since he took control of Giratina despite his attempts to ensure them he changed for the better. A good chunk of the plates feared him. He didn't want them to fear him for who he was. Hyde found himself experiencing a level of loneliness that he kept to himself. In his eyes, he felt no one wanted him. Not Arceus. Not Damian. Not the Plates. Not anyone. He tried to push through his loneliness but failed. In fact, it grew worse as he watched relationships being made with the plates (and the teens with Damian). It was unfair that they had a chance of happiness, but not him. He didn't get that chance when he Henry grieved over losing of Ni. He indulged in the occasional one night stands with King Oliver as a way to ease his pain. It didn't work, but he liked to believe it did. However, he found himself slowly withdrawing himself from the others, putting up the mask that he was unbothered by all of this.

Damian was quick to notice.

The young man didn't approach Hyde on the subject. At least not until his adventure with the group was over. By that time, Hyde had fully withdrawn himself. Hyde would not tell Damian about his heartache right away. His pride prevented him from doing so, and he was reluctant to talk to him since the male took away someone he loved (Hikage). However, over time, Hyde opened up. Through the time he spent with Damian, he rambled about his life, how he felt, and the things he refused to tell others. That brought a wave of remorse to Damian as he never realized that Hyde was silently suffering. It sparked Damian's desire to give Hyde the happy ending that he felt he deserved. This brought a level of amusement to Hyde, but he entertained the thought of Damian providing him a happy ending.

He didn't realize that Damian's idea of a happy ending was the male helping repaired Hyde's reputation and swaying the male away from falling deeper into the chaotic path he was on. Through the years, Hyde himself introducing himself to those he wrong as being a goofy guy that loves to spread a little chaos every once in a while. It took some time for those individuals to believe him, but they would see him as a friend. It helped that Pixel, Damian, and Gaia was there to sway the others into believing him. Seeing this did spark Hyde in cleaning up his act. The male couldn't bear the thought of being lonely for long and was desperate to avoid dealing with it. Eventually, the chaotic nuisance would become a chaotic joker that wanted to bring a smile to the face of those he met. The plates are still a bit wary of him, but they aren't entirely frightened of him. They would grow to trust him especially after the male's rise to leadership after Damian's fall.

Damian's fall occurred after the male was hit with Naoto's move and sent flying off a cliff. Falling into a coma, Damian was teleported away from Mi to an unknown location. However, the plates themselves were panicking as the damage done to Damian's body was severe enough that he was lying close to death's door. While he did have the benefit of reincarnation (thanks to his guardian status), the plates didn't know what would happen to them when Damian died. There was also the concern that Yveltal wouldn't be fast enough to save him. For that reasoning, they decided to fuse with Damian. While this did mean Arceus would no longer be able to use them as they were stuck with Damian, they didn't have any other options or the time needed to reflect on them. Giving a silent apology to their Creator for what they were going to do, these elemental spirits fused themselves into Damian, becoming one with the male.

During the months Damian was in a coma, Hyde assisted Pixel in serving as the leader of the plates. It's unclear how this specifically happened, but no one was complaining. The two knew how to lead, and what was best for the group so the plates couldn't complain. Over those months, Hyde became protective of Damian. If Hyde wasn't watching him, Pixel (and Mea) was the only one he allowed to do so. Speaking of Pixel, Hyde and Pixel did grow closer over the months. In actuality, they did become friends sometime around Damian's reign as Nemo King. Their friendship, however, became more during their time spent watching over a comatose Damian. Through their conversations about the state of the world, they revealed more of themselves to the other and developed an attachment that Hyde himself was wary of trusting:

Love.

Being around Pixel made Hyde happy and valued. It was much like how Ni made Henry feel but better. Pixel didn't rush their relationship to progress further from what it was, nor did he poke the male about what they had. Hyde knew that Pixel was fully aware of how he felt for him, through how affectionate and gentle he was towards him. Despite this, Pixel never poked him about it. Hyde was never sure why, but he assumed it was because he knew love was a scary thing for him. Regardless, he appreciated it. It gave him more time to reflect on it. Was he ready to get back into a relationship given what happened to Henry's relationship with Ni? Was their relationship even going to work? Did Pixel felt what he felt? Those are the questions he found himself thinking about months after Damian woke up and became involved in the "War of Providence" (a war between Arceus and Shimera). Eventually, the male made his decision and decided to talk to Pixel about how he felt. The conversation started off being about nothing specific or importance. During their conversation, Hyde got down to his knees and started to ramble. He rambled on about how much Pixel means to him, how he needed him, and some embarrassing lovey-dovey things that you would never hear Hyde ever say. In the middle of his rambling, Pixel got down on his knees and pressed his forehead against Hyde.

"You know you can just say I love you, Edward."

Those words brought a smile on Hyde's face and made his heart so warm. Embracing, the two sealed the start of their relationship with a single kiss. Hyde's relationship with Pixel changed the male. He was still the same guy he is today, but he found himself back in that comfortable position in life. Hell, he found himself back to the position Henry was in with everyone trusting him and seeing him as a form of an acquaintance. When the war ended, Hyde spent most of his time with Pixel. In the years after the war, they had a daughter they shower with love while maintaining their role as leaders of the plates.

For all of Hyde's troubles, he did get that happy ending Damian promised him he would have.
