Creation Era

His name was Pixel. Pixel was born from the world's need for warmth, the light Zap made, and Ehomooar [Fairy Type Primal]. Being Ehomooar's champion, Pixel was the Pixie Plate. Why was he created? Pixel was to establish what was good and what was bad. In a way, Pixel was going to be the one who laid the foundation for the next set after him. Pixel was a unique plate. The male could change into a female form (which he dubbed Pixie) and had a certain aura that attracted others. He was bright, bubbly, and entertaining. Music was always something that appealed to him. From listening to the tunes that Meloetta would sing, Pixel knew he wanted to do something with the art. He wasn't sure, but he would eventually figure out something.

To his plates, Pixel was the one who acted as the glue to keep them together. Even during their darkest times, Pixel was there to ensure they didn't fall apart. After all, they couldn't risk it. They were helping Arceus build a world, and they needed to be together to ensure it was in order. To his setmates, he was their kin. The three were as close as you can get. They never fought or did anything that brought the ire of the other. In a way, they were perfect siblings. Of course, not everyone liked Pixel at the time. Oh no. We can't ignore Draco and Zap. In Draco's case, disliking Pixel is natural. Pixel was stronger than Draco type wise, and he just didn't like how smug the male can be when mentioning that. Zap dislike for Pixel was...different.

Zap and Pixel mutually dislike each other. It hasn't always been that one. There was a period the two were together in a romantic relationship. How the two ended up in a relationship was something that they can't recall to this day. It was similar to how Skye and Toxi/Ick would end up in a relationship. There was no dramatic confession. It just...happened. Their relationship wasn't the healthiest in the world. Pixel wanted love and affection from Zap. He wanted to feel like he was something special in his eyes. Zap didn't care about that at the time. He saw Pixel as an excuse to release his frustration. Hell, even a toy. Then again, that could be Pixel being bias, but you can tell it hurt him. However, he kept how he felt to himself. He didn't want to cause trouble or start an argument. It wasn't worth it. However, this would be strike one for Zap.

Strike 2 came in the form of Elysia. Pixel wasn't sure why Zap decided it was a great idea to sleep with Regigigas. Yeah, he was drunk, but he was still in a relationship with Pixel. You would think that he would be careful to avoid sleeping around. However, that wasn't the case. The worst part wasn't Zap cheating on him. It was the fact he had a child with the large golem. No one knew plates could pregnant. It never happened. However, by some luck, Zap happened to have a baby girl with Regi. Pixel dreamed about having kids with Zap. He thought that having the kid with him would spark something in him that would make him love him. However, all of that came to an end when he saw Elysia. His desire of wanting a child went away. Despite this, he kept clinging to Zap. He was finding it harder to love the male, but he was trying so hard not to lose that relationship he had with him.

Then...strike 3 came.

It came in the form of the male killing Meadow and Iron. He would have killed Mi too if it wasn't for Ni fusing with her. Never had Pixel felt so disgusted by the mere sight of a plate. He gave this plate so many chances. He excused so much of the crap he put him through. He wanted to be that boyfriend who can change him. He wanted to be that boyfriend that makes him grow. However, Pixel couldn't be that guy. He couldn't just let the fact he did what he did go. It simply wasn't worth the headache. As such, he broke up with the male and made sure not to mistake of falling for him by reminding him that this guy was a monster.

After such a heartache, Pixel decided it would be best to be single. Who needs a boyfriend/girlfriend/significant other? Pixel didn't need that nonsense. The male found a solution to solve that empty void in his heart: music. Music became the love of his life. He allowed it to embrace his soul and filled him with a new life. This is where Pixel decided to use music to express himself. It became his voice, his skill, and his everything. Through the years, Pixel did all he could to expand his love for music. He learned how to various instruments. He dabbled in a bit of songwriting. He centered his entire fighting style on it. He learned how to sing many songs in different languages. He even started the transition of speaking exclusively through singing.

Despite swearing off relationships, the male did dabble in some one-night stands. Some were with Mr. Spooks. Some were with King Oliver. Most were with Draco. Yeah, you wouldn't think Draco and Pixel would engage in any form of sexual relations with each other. But hey. It wasn't like there was anything romantic between the two, and the bed tango was a nice form of stress relief. Amusingly enough, even during that, Pixel always finds a way to win, which frustrated Draco to no end. A frustrated Draco always makes Pixel very pleased with himself.

POA Era-Pre Rotom Era

Eventually, the POA Era came, and it was an interesting one in Pixel's opinion. When it came to the journey to save the world from Shimera, Pixel became one of the more commonly used plates. It was something that Pixel did appreciate since that gave him more of a chance to understand the situation going on, and he was fond of being outside of his rock form. A lot of things occurred during the era. One of those things was Zap ending in a relationship with Splash. Now, Pixel was salty about that. I guess you would be too if you're ex got who had a crappy relationship with you ended up in a healthier relationship. Don't get him wrong. He's happy for the two. They do seem happy together. However, that certainly doesn't stop his level of salt.

Another thing was the introduction of Hyde. Well, reintroduction since he already met the male when he was Henry. Admittedly, Pixel did find Hyde to be cute. It's strange seeing how Hyde wasn't exactly the most well-liked guy in the world, and he was a chaotic being that could potentially destroy the world. However, that didn't mean he wasn't cute. That and he shared Hyde's slight dislike for Zap for ruining his chance of love. It was like a match made in heaven. He also felt bad for the male. He was considered the outcast of the plate because he lost the person he loved. In a way, he was grieving. It became more noticeable that was the case when he noticed how the male reacted to Damian proposing to Hikage and the way he withdrew himself from the others over time.

Maybe that was the reason why Pixel couldn't help but do he can to make the plates realize that Hyde wasn't a bad guy.

Was it out of love? Probably. At the time, Pixel wasn't sure. He felt like Hyde deserved a second chance. With everything he went through, he needed to redeem himself. He needed to properly grief in a healthy way. In a way, Pixel wanted to be his hero. Unlike Zap, Pixel knew he can help the male. It wasn't as if Hyde was going to magically fall in love with him. To his relief, it worked. His reputation would be repaired, and Hyde would become a chaotic joker that wanted to bring a smile to the face of those he meet. The plates are still hesitant of him, but they were at least not afraid of him. In Pixel's opinion, that's all he cared about. It wouldn't be till Damian's fall that their relationship would change. Hell, his role in his plates would change as well.

Damian's fall occurred after the male was hit with Naoto's move and sent flying off a cliff. Falling into a coma, Damian was teleported away from Mi to an unknown location. However, the plates themselves were panicking as the damage done to Damian's body was severe enough that he was lying close to death's door. While he did have the benefit of reincarnation (thanks to his guardian status), the plates didn't know what would happen to them when Damian died. There was also the concern that Yveltal wouldn't be fast enough to save him. For that reasoning, they decided to fuse with Damian. While this did mean Arceus would no longer be able to use them as they were stuck with Damian, they didn't have any other options or the time needed to reflect on them. Giving a silent apology to their Creator for what they were going to do, these elemental spirits fused themselves into Damian, becoming one with the male.

Rotom Era-Our Story Era (Now)

During the months Damian was in a coma, Pixel decided it was best if he became the leader of the plates. When it came to the plates, Pixel was the saner of the bunch after everything that happened. No one complained. After all, Pixel knew what was the best for the group. It wasn't like he was by himself either. Hyde helped him. In a way, Pixel appreciated his assistance. Sometimes a boss needed an assistant. Pixel did all he could to ensure everyone was safe especially Damian. If he wasn't watching over Damian and focusing on the plates, Hyde would be in place. Speaking of Hyde, Hyde and Pixel grew closer over the months. In actuality, they did become friends sometime around Damian's time as Nemo King. Their friendship, however, became more during their time spent watching over a comatose Damian. Through their conversations about the state of the world, they revealed more of themselves to the other.

Now Pixel was quick to notice he would in love with Hyde. It took him the time Damian was in a coma to realize that. He wasn't shocked by it. He was pretty worried that Hyde wouldn't return his feelings. After all, he wasn't sure if the male was still grieving over his lost love. However, Hyde wasn't subtle when it came to his feelings towards him. When said male looks at you with a very distinct blush on his face and a gentle smile on his face, you can't just write that off as being nothing. Pixel wasn't blind (like a certain dragon plate). However, Pixel didn't rush their relationship to progress further from what it was nor did he poke the male about what they had. If there's something being with Zap taught him, it wasn't worth rushing into things. Besides, Pixel was patient. He knew that Hyde needed time to reflect on it.

So...he just waited.

The time would come that Hyde would reveal his feelings. It came during the conversation between the two. The conversation started off being about nothing specific or importance. During their conversation, Hyde got down to his knees and started to ramble. Pixel nearly had a heart attack because he thought that Hyde was going to propose to him. He rambled on about how much Pixel means to him, how he needed him, and some embarrassing lovey-dovey things that you would never hear Hyde ever say. In the middle of his rambling, Pixel got down on his knees and pressed his forehead against Hyde.

"You know you can just say I love you, Edward."

Just saying that brought Pixel a level of joy. He always wanted to say those words but he could find the right time to say them. Embracing, the two sealed the start of their relationship with a single kiss. Things became better for Pixel since he started his relationship with Hyde. He became a very respected plate in the group and earned that title of being boss. He found himself way happier than he was previously now that he had someone who was willing to give that love and affection to. When the war ended, Pixel spent every chance he can with Hyde with King Oliver joining them every once in a while. In the years after the war, they had a daughter that they shower with love and still maintain their role as leaders of the plates.

Pixel does wonder...if it's worth trying to repair his relationship with Zap.
