Diamondrain was a warrior of ShadowClan. She was born to Silverblossom and Stormstar alongside her brother, Dewstorm. She was trained by Maplefur. She grieved for her parents when they died. After earning her warrior name, she became mates with Crowmask and gave birth to Mistybreeze and Coldpebble, who she raised alone.
Diamondrain was killed by Poisonedsap's allies and ascended to StarClan. She gave Dewstorm a message for Mistybreeze, assuring her she was one of three cats who would prove their loyalties in the battle against Deserve's Army.
Diamondrain is a silver gray she-cat with darker spots, paws, and ears, white chest, muzzle, and chin, light blue eyes.
"But just because we won't share a nest or a den doesn't mean we won't be together. I'll always be here for you and Coldkit, and I can't wait to watch you grow into brave young warriors. I'll be with you every pawstep of the way."
Diamondrain is very polite and kind. She doesn't like violence or fighting. She loves Mistybreeze and Coldpebble more than anything and raised them without Crowmask.
As an apprentice, Diamondpaw seems quiet and easygoing, but is a pawful according to Maplefur.

Stormstar is Diamondrain's father. He was very proud of his kits. Diamondrain was an apprentice when he died and grieved for him.
Silverblossom is Diamondrain's mother. She was very proud of her kits. Diamondrain was an apprentice when she died and grieved for her.
Dewstorm is Diamondrain's brother. Despite choosing different paths, they shared a strong bond. Diamondrain feared for Dewstorm's life after he was attacked at Highstones and was relieved that he recovered. In death, Diamondrain visited Dewstorm and gave him a message to pass on to Mistybreeze.
Crowmask was Diamondrain's mate. They became mates shortly after Diamondrain became a warrior, and she wanted kits more than anything. When Crowmask learned she was expecting, he ended their relationship, not wanting to be a father. Diamondrain respected his decision and raised Mistykit and Coldkit alone. Despite his distance, Crowmask still cared for Diamondrain. He carried her body back to camp and helped bury her.
"I never wanted kits. But Diamondrain did, more than anything. That's why when I found out she was expecting, I... didn't want to be her mate anymore. I'm not a father. I'm a warrior. I don't expect you to forgive me. But know that I'm sorry I'm not the father you deserved." -Crowmask to Mistybreeze and Coldpebble.
Mistybreeze is Diamondrain's daughter. Diamondrain was close with her kits and promised to always be there for them. Mistybreeze felt some responsibility for her death, being involved in Poisonedsap's plot. In death, Diamondrain knew how strong her daughter was and assured her she was one of three cats who would prove their loyalties.

Coldpebble is Diamondrain's son. Diamondrain was close with her kits and promised to always be there for them. Coldpebble feels he inherited his hunting skills from Diamondrain.
"Diamondrain was a great mother. She taught us to be the best warriors we could be. To follow our hearts and protect our Clan. I like to think I inherited her hunting skills. So... So every piece of prey I bring back, you can thank Diamondrain for." -Coldpebble at Diamondrain's vigil

Kithood
Diamondkit is born in ShadowClan to Silverblossom and Stormstar alongside her brother, Dewkit.
Apprenticeship
Diamondpaw is apprenticed and receives Maplefur as her mentor. She is a bit nervous about battle training, afraid of getting hurt. She is enthusiastic about her training.
She grieves when Stormstar is killed and misses him. She and Dewpaw try to comfort Silverblossom as she desperately tries to go find his body. Diamondpaw grieves again when Silverblossom is killed by a badger.
Mother
Diamondrain earns her warrior name and wants kits more than anything. She becomes the mate of Crowmask, however he does not want to be a father. When he finds out she's expecting, he ends their relationship.
She is not terribly hurt by the loss of Crowmask, looking forward to being a mother. She gives birth to Mistykit and Coldkit and loves them more than anything. When the kits are apprenticed, she returns to her warrior duties. Diamondrain worries more than the rest of the Clan when Dewstorm is attacked at Highstones and is relieved at her brother's recovery. She is very proud when Mistybreeze and Coldpebble become warriors.
While leading a hunting patrol, Diamondrain is attacked and killed by Deserve's soldiers with a slash to the belly.
StarClan
In death, Diamondrain ascends to StarClan. She gives a message to Dewstorm for Mistybreeze. "You are stronger than ever now, but you don't have to fight alone. You are one of three cats whose loyalties will be proven under a full moon. I'm so proud of you, and I will be with you always as you fight for the Clans." Dewstorm passes this on to Mistybreeze.

At a gathering, Crowmask proudly tells Broadwing and Dipfoot that Diamondrain is expecting kits. Depthstar also announces this. (Starfaith's Fate, chapter 9) - Diamondrain was created as the mate of Crowmask and mother of Mistybreeze and Coldpebble. Years later, she was given Dewstorm as a brother, and while writing Beyond the River, I made Stormstar and Silverblossom her parents. She is first described as a silver gray she-cat with darker spots, paws, and ears, white chest, muzzle, and chin. She had light blue eyes.
