Redblaze was a warrior of ShadowClan. She is the daughter of Dustystar and Sunflight, and sister of Mossbranch. One day she met the kittypet Bacon. He grew interested in Clan life and fell in love with her, joining ShadowClan and eventually becoming Baconstripe. They had three kits together: Maplefur, Milkblaze, and Rosebreeze.
Redblaze fought for her Clan during the time of Bone Shred's attacks. Eventually, both she and Baconstripe were killed by the rogues. In death, she ascended to StarClan.
Redblaze is a pale ginger tabby she-cat with dark ginger markings, yellow eyes.

Sunflight is Redblaze's father. She never knew him, as he was exiled before she was born.
Baconstripe is Redblaze's mate. She met him when he was a kittypet named Bacon. He grew interested in Clan life and fell in love with her. He joined ShadowClan and became a warrior, Baconstripe. He and Redblaze became mates and had three kits.
Maplefur is Redblaze's son. She was very proud of her kits. He missed her terribly after she died.

Meeting Baconstripe
Redblaze met a kittypet named Bacon. He became interested in Clan life and fell in love with her, deciding to join ShadowClan and becoming Baconstripe. He and Redblaze became mates.
Redblaze and Baconstripe were friends with Iceslide. (Beyond the River, chapter 6)
Mother
It is the night of a gathering. Iceslide is curious about how his friends in other clans are, and wonders if Redblaze had her kits, noting that he'll have to ask Baconstripe. When Stormstar announces the newest apprentices: Maplepaw, Rosepaw, and Milkpaw, Iceslide sees that they all have creamy pelts like Redblaze and realizes that they must be she and Baconstripe's kits. (Beyond the River, chapter 6)
Redblaze is very proud of Maplefur, Milkblaze, and Rosebreeze when they become warriors. She and Baconstripe happily greet them, and she licks Milkblaze's head. Stormstar congratulates the three, a solemn tone in his voice as he comments that Redblaze must be proud. She meets his gaze steadily and confirms that she is, thanking him. Stormstar notes that he named Milkblaze after her, and all her kits have inherited a lot of her skill and courage. Redblaze leans against Baconstripe, and they watch their kits proudly. At another gathering, Iceslide sees Baconstripe among the ShadowClan warriors, but he's deep in conversation with Redblaze and Ashcloud. Iceslide decides he'd better not bother him, mildly disappointed. When Stormstar announces that Maplefur, Rosebreeze, and Milkblaze have become warriors, Baconstripe and Redblaze aren't far from their kits cheering the loudest, their eyes shining with pride. Death
Redblaze is on her way to tell Egghead, Muffinfoot, and Toastface that Baconstripe has died. She's attacked by Bone Shred's rogues just outside of twolegplace, receiving horrible wounds in her flank and throat. Depthwater and Ashcloud find her and rush back to camp for help. Stormstar, Hawkfeather, and Milkblaze follow the two warriors to Redblaze. Hawkfeather sadly confirms she won't survive. She shakily states she looks forward to hunting with Baconstripe again. She's glad to see Milkblaze, watching him lovingly, but sorry to leave him so soon. Before she dies, she asks him to promise to always be there to protect Maplefur and Rosebreeze, and he does. (Milkblaze's Suspicion, chapter 1)
- Redblaze was created as the sister of Creamheart, mate of Baconstripe, and mother of Milkblaze and Maplefur. She was first described as a fiery orange she-cat with a red splash on her chest, red paws, ears, tail tip, and paws. She had amber eyes. Her description was later changed to look similar to her cream furred kits.
- In the planning stages of Shadows of Blood, she is listed to have a brother, Creamheart, as well as the same mate and kits as she has now.
- Stormstar named Milkblaze after his mother, Redblaze. (Milkblaze's Suspicion, chapter 1)
- Redblaze is one of the most experienced warriors in ShadowClan. Every cat admires and respects her. Even Stormstar seems to rank her above him. (Milkblaze's Suspicion, chapter 1)
