ABOUT
"Our feet are planted in the real world, but we dance with angels and ghosts."
At Chiyo's core, she is a kind and compassionate feral who is rather easygoing to most people. While she is selectively mute, she still manage to find ways to communicate to others through body language and facial expression. She is a very patient and forgiving, a fact that is needed for her to be able to deal with one of her owners (Yuuto) when he often makes the mistake of lashing out at her. She also is shown to have a caring and nurturing side as seen when she puts others before herself. She doesn't feels the need to be pitied or treated specially as she views herself as being nothing special. Perhaps that's due to the fact that she is a pack oriented person that can be almost always selfless. Contrary to most Pokemon's expectations when it comes to feral, Chiyo is rather analytical and perceptive, and she is usually quick to discern the content and subtext of conversations that may be viewed as being too complex for a feral to understand. However, she tends to lack confidence in her own judgments of social situations. This often causes her to highly value others' honesty, even when that honesty is harsh. In the end, it allows her to figure out ways to improve herself in whatever way she can.
DESIGN
Design Notes
- Heart shaped-markings can be seen on the pattern on her front legs.
- Whenever she's not carrying her owners, she tends to be standing bipedally.
- Underneath the palm of her back right leg is her ID number [714528].
- She does appear some illusion based abilities that allow her to slightly alter her colors.
BACKGROUND
THE STORY OF A LOYAL LIZARD
In the world of Tellus, there exist two main types of Pokemon: Decorous and Feral. The decorous are the type of Pokemon that can be regarded as being the "humans" of the world. They have their own civlizations, carry a level of intelligence higher than Feral, carry the complex reasoning and introspection. Decorous are complex and bear resemblance to that of Pokemon we know and love. Ferals are the opposites. Most often refer to them as the being "animals" and "monsters" of the world. They are either slayed for their material/prevent them from harming others, respected as beings of nature or domesticated to the point they become pets. Chiyo is the latter.
Being the daughter of a Cyclizar Feral [Mototokage] and a Hisuian Zoroark Feral [Zoroh], Chiyo was a gift to Tanaka when he was first hatched. The female was bred by Tanaka's parents to serve as a guardian to the young man until he was old enough to take care of himself. Every since the two of them met, they carried a deep bond that very few were able to achieve. The love that Chiyo has for her owner is something that she cherish. He taught her things ferals would find complex and even gave the chance to outright avoid battles if she wasn't in the mood for them. It wouldn't be long before she was left to serve as simply being a ride for Tanaka rather than a guardian. This took off the pressure that Chiyo had to be on her guard whenever she was with Tanaka espesically when his power would grow to the point he was seen as being a powerful foe to face in battle. Her loyalty with Tanaka is so strong that she didn't bat a eye when he suggested the two of them to leave the village.
RELATIONSHIPS
Chiyo wants Yuuto to be happy. She wants to wipe away those dark memories he has to replace them with happier ones. She will always be by her master's side to help him through his pain.
Chiyo never regrets a day in her life being with Tanaka. She has a deep love and care for her owner that makes it so she never questions what he does and remain loyal to him.
Chiyo is fond by the hyperactive energy that Avery holds even if it sometimes lead to them getting into situations. She is often left in charge of keeping a eye on her, which is for the best.
Lucius is a very curious character. She questions why he surpress so much pain and carries all the weight of other people on her shoulder. That's worrying to her, given what she knows of him.
Chiyo sees a bit of Avery in Raiden. She isn't sure if she should be worried about that. Regardless on how she feels, she finds him to be amusing. She does have to keep a eye on him.
Chiyo sees Ryujin as being a brother to her. Perhaps that's due to the fact he is one of the few dragon ferals that she knows. She often likes teasing him about how he feels about Jasper.
Chiyo learned one thing about Eli. Outside of the fact that he's a cute kid, she knows better than to leave him in the same room as Avery. The chaos they cause together gives her a headache.

Moveset
- Shift Gear: The user rotates its gears, boosting its Attack stat and sharply boosting its Speed stat. (Learned Naturally)

- Shadow Claw: The user attacks by slashing the target with a sharp claw made from shadows. This move has a heightened chance of landing a critical hit. (Learned Naturally)
- Ice Spinner: The user covers its feet in thin ice and twirls around, slamming into the target. This move's spinning motion also destroys the terrain. (Learned From Technical Machine)
TRIVIA
- Working out the design of Chiyo took a bit of trial of error as I wasn't too sure what I wanted in her design.
- Figuring out Chiyo's personality was one of the more tricky parts when it came to working on her profile.
- I believe Chiyo was the first gen 9 Pokemon that I actually made.
- Chiyo's canon voice sounds like this.
