For Science! You must be familiar with this trope if you seen your fair share of media that has some form of scientific element to it. If you don't know, it's one of the classic motivations for any story that frames science as this antagonistic force. In this, a researcher (or several) seek forbidden knowledge on a unknown subject for their own sake rather than to better the world. They put no thought of the consequences that come with prodding the source as they only value progress and knowledge. What start off as being a simple mix of curosity and ambition evolves into a hubris of madness that results in caution and restraint being thrown out the steel-barred windows. They fail to think about if their experiments are ethical, or should they even be informed as to what they are being tested for. For them, they see is as being a waste of time and energy. That time and energy can be craft their perfect experiment. This leads us to Yuuto, a demigod that was forged by the DNA of the God of Incarnation and Genetics: Mew.

It is not a new thing for Pokemon to play God. There has been some instances here and there where they play a hand in making new Gods or, in some cases bringing life, into fallen ones. However, all of those attempts lead to death from the very beings that they hope to show them some mercy in their creation despite the pain they went through. Yuuto was one of those experiments. The Gods wanted to make a secondary Mew in order to have their own personal God by their side. However, given the nature of the cloning process, there was a lot of complexity that lead to Yuuto going through various trials and what not in order to survive. All of which lead to him being horrible traumatized.

However, Yuuto would make his escape through snapping under the pressure of mega evolution. He killed the scienctists that made him and fled to a forest far away from the ruins of the base of their lab. Mentally broken, he would stumble upon Tanaka and discover that they were a bounded pair known as "The Fallen". Bounded Pairs were supposedly two or more fated individuals that were supposedly meant to be together for eternity as the 'Gods' have chosen it. Those bounded are considered bless as a result. However, very few actually realize they are bounded pair as there are very few that exist in the world. Not only that but information about bounded pairs is quite scarce so it was hard to know what benefits and hindrances it had to offer.

Yuuto was mostly happy to have someone that he can lean on to help him process how to live in this strange world...and hopefully find his identity.

Dr. Kita was once a good man. The Drampa was a father of one with his wife dying from childbirth. When he wasn't spending his time researching things pertaining to DNA, he was giving his daughter all the love in the world. He brought her whatever she wanted regardless of the price and relied on the thought of her to get through the long days at work. As such, it made sense that the moment she died from illness that he lost his mind. He felt in his heart that he should have been able to save her. What was the point having this degree when he couldn't save his little girl from something that should have been so easily to eliminate? With madness came determination. A sickly determination to bring back his daughter through the act of cloning. However, he needed the funds for it. He needed the right research and subjects for it. That is why he chose to work under the Collective, a organization that was built on premise of building the perfect Pokemon and bring back those who fallen through cloning. He was given the tools needed with the leader asking him for one thing from him: Clone Mew.

Dr. Kita should have questioned the motivations of the Collective espesically when he was given the task of cloning Mew. However, he was not one to care at this point in his life. He sent off a group of ferals and Pokemon to collect the DNA of Mew. Luckily, for Dr. Kita, Mew was one of the few Gods that actually made their presence known. It would be days later before only one survivor would return with strands of Mew's fur. The rest had been viciously killed by the feline. Dr. Kita wasn't bothered by that. After all, sacrifices needed to be made. The process of cloning Mew from these strands was a long one. The act of cloning itself needed some trial and errors to avoid wasting the strands they had. It lead to many clones being made and dying from genetic errors and defects. It took over a year before a single clone (a Charmander) managed to survive the first few weeks without dying. Dr. Kira note that this Charmander has a higher successful and made note to ensure its survival. In the meanwhile, he decided that it was finally time to clone Mew.

The clone of Mew, dubbed Mewtwo, wasn't a simple process. More genetic material was needed to ensure there wasn't genetic errors. This mean that genetic splicing of other Pokemon and what not was essential. Months would go by before Mewtwo was born. There was no such thing as having a childhood for Mewtwo. Every waking minute of Mewtwo's life was spent going through his tests after tests to perfect his body. This lead to him going through various experiments and even being made to take specific drugs that was meant to boost his strength in unnatural ways. For Mewtwo, he was frighten by the pain that he dealt with during the early years. He would yell and attempt to fight back against his creators. However, he was never strong enough to stop them. He would try to call out for the source of DNA he was made from. However, every attempt lead to silence as his telepathy was simply far too weak to reach out towards his "father".

Mewtwo forbid himself from attaching himself to the scientists that he would start to grow familiar with other the years. While he would go along with what they ask him to do, it was mostly to avoid being punished and to make the experience go by quicker. He did grew a bond with the Charmander clone that he would see as being his first friend. This Charmander [Kaen] would always be the first to stop the scientists whenever they went too far even if they get physically harm in the process and even help Mewtwo grow stronger. When Mewtwo was given the chance to have a proper room, Kaen would be one of the few Pokemon that would be allowed into his room and end up being the ones the scientists send to receive him. This group of Pokemon would later include two clones: a Bulbasaur/Chikorita named Miu and a Squirtle/Milotic named Mizuo. Those three Pokemon would be the only thing keeping Mewtwo from being outright vicious to the scientists as their presence was enough to soothe him.

But of course...Dr. Kito had to ruin that.

At the age of 18 years old, Mewtwo woke up to find Kaen, Mizuo and Miu were gone from their usual spots in his room. At first, he assumed that they were dragged to do things. However, upon leaving his room and talking to a scientist, he would learn that Kito had sent them off to another facility. According to him, they weren't needed. That was the first time that Mewtwo mega evolved with the Mewtwonite Y that was crafted in the previous day. Out of rage, he mega evolved and lashed out. It took several scientists and ferals to knock out Mewtwo. Even with their success, a good portion of Pokemon still died from Mewtwo's assault. Dr. Kito wasn't bothered by this. He was more annoyed by Mewtwo's behavior over what was a "small decision" since it was gonna cost him a bit of his funding. He was so close to starting his cloning process of his daughter, and Mewtwo was getting in a way of it. However, he did find it fasinating how strong he was while mega evolved and sought to explore that. It also meant that the leader of the Collective may look away at the fact they nearly had a strong Pokemon caused problems.

Nonetheless, a strong hatred was formed in Mewtwo that simply grew over the years. He purposely made it harder for the scientists to study him. He lashed out at them whenever they weren't expecting it and overall became a menace. This will come together in a major event. The scientist would make a new mega stone [Mewtwonite X] for Mewtwo to try out. They wanted to see how strong he would be when it came to the use of it. Unlike last time, they made sure to place him in a room where they believed would ensure that they can properly contain Mewtwo in in case he lost control. Mewtwo would try out the mega stone despite his personal dislike of it. As expected, he would lose control...and the scientists would underestimate the strength of this form as the control room wasn't enough to contain him.

Mewtwo went on a rampage that much more violent than before. He tore apart every single scientists in the facility and released whatever experiments were still left in building. It was there that Dr. Kita registered what he done. He realized what he made and the unthical things he done to this boy. He realized that if his daughter and his wife were here to see what he was doing, they would never forgive him. As such, he decided to approach Mewtwo. He did not apologize because he knew the boy would never forgive him. He simply offered himself as sacrifice, which Mewtwo greedily accepted by tearing out his heart. When Mewtwo finished his rampage, he fled the ruins of the building and retreated to the forest after gathering the little things he had. Once he got far, he collapsed...though not before being discovered by a Zoroark and his feral.

The Zoroark was named Tanaka while the Mototokage Zoroh [feral Cyclizar/Hisui Zoroark] was named Chiyo. When Tanaka discovered him, he was gentle and patient with him. He gave him space to process his emotions and comforted him when he felt he was given a chance to. It wouldn't take long for Mewtwo to eventually latch onto him and hold him tightly as he breaks down sobbing. He rambled about everything he went through, and Tanaka just listens. Mewtwo stayed like that until he eventually calmed down a hour or so later. He apologize with Tanaka reassuring him that he was fine. He does question what Mewtwo will do now now that he's free. Mewtwo remarks that he wasn't really sure with Tanaka offering Mewtwo the chance to travel with. In normal cases, he would decline. However, with Mewtwo so desperate for social interactions and attachments, Mewtwo joined him. However, he asked one thing from Tanaka, an that was the request of giving him a name.

Tanaka would give him one. He would give him the name of Yuuto.
