Yumeno Kisaki's Links
"Celeuxe likes to fight a lot. More than I do... I think it's a good thing, people... they're usually scared of him. I can be... sometimes... but he likes what I like. He sends me a lot of music, all of it is good, I like his taste in lyrics... and colors..."
---
Celeuxe scares Yumeno, from time to time: she hates it whenever people get too loud, and Celeuxe is always marching around looking angry as all hell, which is scary to anybody in his immediate vicinity. She's learned to accept the fact that Cel is never /too/ mad at Yumeno, though, which is all that she can ask for. Celeuxe is always the first person that Yumeno sends new music and new media to -- the two of them always have the same views, making it fun for her to rant to him about it (even if she admits that what she says sometimes goes over his head).
"If it was just Jaime and I in this stupid-ass band, I swear I'd have killed her by now. Hell, I think Yumeno's the best vocalist we could've gotten. She's weak as fuck in a fight, but she's got a powerful voice."
---
Celeuxe knows that she intimidates Yumeno a bit -- and even though he can sometimes lose his patience with her nervous demeanor and the long-winded philosophical rants she can go on, he'd never do anything to scare her more than he already does. He genuinely loves sharing his music with her and getting media recommendations from her -- the two of them share a lot of the same (edgy) tastes and aesthetics, after all. He's the one to drag Yumeno with him to Hot Topic -- while encouraging (peer pressuring) her to skip class and hang out, instead.
"She's cool... I think we like different things... We like different things but she still treats me like a friend, which is nice. She pushes me really hard which... which I guess is okay, I think she's just trying to help..."
---
Even though she's embarrassed by how physically affectionate Jaime can be, Yumeno can't help but admit that she genuinely enjoys how energetic Jaime can be. She often depends on Jaime to be the one ordering food or talking to people in Yumeno's place -- Yumeno just doesn't know how to interact with others as well as Jaime does. Even though she doesn't like physical exercise as much as Jaime does, Yumeno would never turn down an invitation from Jaime to go to the gym. It gives her more time to be in the presence of somebody she more-than-just-likes, after all.
"Yumeno is just precious, I'm serious. You can tell that she really cares about everything she does. I think she might spend a bit too much time worrying about what other people think of her, but she seriously loosens up when she's on stage!"
---
Jaime treats Yumeno just like a younger sibling -- ruffling her hair, giving her hugs, and even picking her up from time to time, just to swing her around. She always encourages Yumeno to try harder and get stronger, offering to be her spotter at the gym or inviting her out on runs (and subsequently waiting for her whenever she falls behind, of course). While she doesn't entirely "get" Yumeno's taste in music and media, she's more than willing to pretend that she does so that they have something to talk about!
"I... I really think she's cool, I... she's good at everything she does, I mean, I can't think of anyone as... as scary as her, which is so cool, everyone always respects her... I want to be like her..."
---
If Yumeno could, she'd copy exactly what Set did at every moment of the day, wanting really badly to eventually be as cool and intimidating and skilled and strong as she thinks Set is. She really values Set's praise, sometimes writing it down or playing it on repeat in her head so that she can remember it whenever she feels down about herself. At the same time, though, she can be more nervous than normal whenever she's performing in front of Set, always trying to do what she can to impress her -- even though this ends up embarrassing her, sometimes.
"Needs training. Sharp, but she doesn't think that highly of herself. Or she does. Sometimes she says things that hint at how sharp she can be. She'll make it."
---
While Set's somewhat flattered by the fact that Yumeno so obviously looks up to her, she doesn't always want to be protecting her whenever they're on missions together -- and so she makes a point out of pushing Yumeno harder than she pushes Jaime and Celeuxe, forcing him to keep up with them whenever they're training even though she knows that Yumeno doesn't have as much fighting experience as they do. She finds it a bit annoying whenever Yumeno tries to hide behind Set or refuses to take a risk that Set knows is in Yumeno's favor. How does she expect to improve, like that?
