Charlotte Waltz's Links
[Related] Frederick is Charlotte's father; he is her mentor and role model, and she has nothing but the utmost respect for him. She aspires to be like him and will do anything she can to maintain the Nightingale's terrifying yet respectable infamy.
[Related] Charlotte is Frederick's daughter after he finally considered having a child far in the future with the help of a surrogate. He's aware that he's strict and possibly harsh, but only wants the best for her and to build her into a respectable assassin.
Being Frederick's closest friend, Cameron is like an uncle to Charlotte. He's always trying to make her laugh and smile but unfortunately fails. She does respect him, though.
Yet she can't help but wonder why he doesn't age when her parents do.
Cameron never thought he'd see the day Freddy would buckle and have a kid. He wasn't sure what he was expecting, but he sure as hell didn't think the kid would be EXACTLY like Freddy! It's almost scary.
Charlotte regards Nikolai as a close friend, if not her best friend. She's not usually fond of the flirtatious, sleazy types, but something about him draws her to him. She initially went to him for help learning how to be an assassin capable of using seduction as a skill, but his lessons were so... close that she's found herself swooning, whether she wants to or not.
Nikolai's always been drawn to the strong, serious types. He loves teasing Charlotte and gossiping with her, although sometimes he feels he's the closest she has to being girly. He tries to help her hone her skills of seduction, but it seems that all that's done is accidentally charm her. Now isn't that quite the pickle?
[Related] Although Ethan isn't biologically related to her, Charlotte considers him her father. She loves him and is very grateful for him, especially the moments where his kindness balances out Frederick's strict teachings. Ethan can be a bit pathetic at times, so Charlotte tends to be more protective of him than he is of her.
[Related] Sometimes it's hard for Ethan to have a daughter he's not biologically related to, but that never threatens the love he has for her. He cares about her and having her changed his life all for the better.
During an assassination attempt Charlotte found herself in the same place as the infamous Smiley. She had thought he was like the Nightingale - a family of killers - but when she saw him she was met with an overwhelmingly inhumane bloodlust. Whatever he is is certainly not human, and she trembles at the thought of having to meet him again.
Assassins are rather silly in Smiley's opinion. Getting paid to kill people? Before they can be happy? Even if that makes the other person happy, there are better ways to make everyone smile! Someday he hopes to catch Charlotte again and be able to properly teach her the alternate methods of fulfilling someone's request.
[Related] Annie's mother. Even after having a second child Charlotte has never gotten the hang of being a doting mother, so more times than she likes to admit she ends up being colder than she means. She tries to prove her love to Annie by buying her gifts, which seems to work. Although it appears her daughter has inherited her desire for solitude...
[Related] Charlotte's daughter and youngest child. Because of this Annie wasn't in line for the Nightingale's position, but was fine with that. Her mother can come off as cold and distant, but will often try to make it up by buying her video games, which she is also fine with.
[Related] Aniki's mother. Charlotte worries she may be too harsh when it comes to training her son, which is why she encourages him to not be afraid to be himself. However, after seeing his... "OCs"? She can't help but wonder if he got it from his father.
[Lover] Charlotte was tasked with assassinating the president of a very powerful company. It proved to be just as challenging as she suspected, as she was shamefully caught soon afterwards. The president surprised her, though. Not out of his skills and wit, but from how much of a spoiled brat he is. An airheaded one, at that. Although he's Lucia's brother so she shouldn't be too surprised.
Still, despite how many headaches he gives her, Charlotte feels drawn to the young businessman.
[Lover] Jr knew that someone was gonna come after him in the very beginning. Yet, he didn't even realize that his killer was a woman until the very last minute. He simply used his mother's power to catch her before Charlotte could take the opportunity to shoot, then letting her slide after taking her out to a "date" out of spite. Ever since that day, he seemed to be starstruck for Waltz's beauty and her cold demeanor.
[Rivals] Just as their fathers were rivals, so too are Charlotte and Justis. They have both failed to kill each other before, leaving a scar on each other's bodies over their failure. But the next time Charlotte sees Justis will be the last, she's sure of it.
[Rivals] Like father, like son; Justis is bitter rivals with Charlotte. Revenge runs blood deep, after all. He may not have been able to have finished her off the first time they met, but he'll find a way to destroy her eventually. He just has to be patient.
