Personality
Mavis is a soft-hearted girl who, in contrast to her destructive abilities and criminal upbringing, is very gentle and anxious. She's paranoid, given her circumstances, and quick to panic, especially when placed under the slightest bit of rightful suspicion. She's not exactly a good liar, but fortunately she's quick to improvise, so she somehow gets away with it. Her usual anxieties get thrown aside when something she's passionate about comes up, such as rock music, in which case she gets very excited and uncharacteristically chatty, showing a surprising amount of energy.

Destructive Blasts - Mavis's peculiarity allows her to fire destructive energy blasts from her right hand. She has only recently developed this ability and is unaware of any finer details.

Background
Mavis ran away from home as a child to get away from her neglectful mother, and was taken in off the streets by the charismatic crime boss, Boss Rat, who she began to work for as a petty thief. Despite the seedy circumstances of being a mob child, she found her life was a happier one with her new criminal family and was generally content outside of the anxiety the actual crime-committing bits gave her, though she still pushed through and did her best with these in hopes of showing gratitude to her carers.
Synopsis
Following a heist gone wrong, at the abnormally late age of 18, she suddenly developed her peculiar power to emit destructive blasts from her left hand. Boss Rat saw this as an opportunity and ordered her to go undercover as a mole at the law enforcement agency Peculiar Ops in order to feed his crime ring inside information. Though reluctant, Mavis is pressured to go through with the plan and by some miracle successfully joins Peculiar Ops. Before long however she finds herself trapped in the friend circle of some of the agency's most powerful and unstable individuals, compromising her hopes of laying low.
