Elena is a bit uppity and has a bad habit of unwittingly looking down on people based on their social status. Despite her snobby attitude, she's actually a generous and selfless person who genuinely wants to make the world a better place. Unfortunately her spoiled upbringing means she has trouble understanding anything outside of the upper class lifestyle she's grown up within. Due to being raised among rich, boring aristocrats, she has a fascination with 'bad boys', secretly loving rock music and becoming instantly infatuated with any man she sees as a 'rebel', even if it's say, someone mugging her.

Background

Born as second child to the current chairman of the influential Runderwater Foundation, Elena was raised in a very high-class circle of society, a life she continues to take for granted. Despite her young age she chose, rather than to simply enjoy an easy life of wealth, to try and push herself to take an active role in her family's business, despite her elder brother being the actual heir to the organisation. As the Runderwater Foundation helps fund Peculiar Ops, she is under their official protection. However, her arrogance often puts her at opposition with the agents task to protect her and every one soon quits the assignment. She has gone through several bodyguards in this manner and is regarded within Peculiar Ops as the organisation's 'Wicked Princess'.

Synopsis

Mavis, despite her inexperience, is soon assigned to become Elena's newest bodyguard, a job she pushes herself to stick to as she fears her cover will be blown if she resigns. Elena doesn't make it easy for her however, as she constantly unwittingly throws herself into danger with her bad-boy obsession, even ending up being kidnapped for ransom, leaving Peculiar Ops the task of rescuing her. She has also recently been introduced to the boy with whom she has been arranged to be married; to her dismay, he's a goody two-shoes aristocrat.
