Profile
Reynal Kievma
Basics
Personality
Reynal isn't a very big fan of the internet, nor the world outside his hive for that matter. Over the sweeps, they've had a terrible streak of luck when it comes to facing online and in-person harrasment for being 'a scummy fudgeblood,' leading them to keep their distance from other trolls in both places. They distrust most people they comes across and have very little faith in others and their supposed "good-intentions," preferring to be left alone and not get their hopes up for any supposedly "good" opportunity. Despite severely reducing his time interacting with others, the words of others have influenced his own self-perception, leading to an overall negative view of himself as someone who's weak, cowardly, and soft. Despite this, deep down, Reynal longs to become someone who is strong and independent, someone who can be looked up to and who can inspire others like him. Reynal is a troll of few hobbies, but they like to doodle, cook, and write. They use their writing as a form of escapism, spinning tales about the worlds they wish they could live in and the kind of person they wish they could be like instead of themself.

Story
Early Life
When Reynal was a very young pupa, they started off naive and optimistic about the world. They aspired to become a bass player in a band and make it big as an up-and-coming lowblood music star, but it didn't take long at all for the reality of Alternia to crush their dreams and confidence. From getting beat up by highbloods on the street, to facing a constant barrage of negative newsfeed that outlined how useless and expendable lowbloods like him were, to never being able to manifest his psychic power like the rest of his bronzeblood peers, Reynal's original, optimistic self-confidence was stomped out almost entirely. He began to view himself as weak and useless like how everyone else did, causing him to become a recluse who rarely left his hive. They knew that, as a weaker troll with very little fighting experience, they were an easy target for violent highbloods who were out and about looking for random lowbloods to dispose of for fun. Reynal tried to brave the outdoors and online forums in an effort to make friends, but most of them came off as too threatening, loud, or abrasive for him to want to stick around. As a result of their fear of the outdoors and their lack of luck finding friends online, they eventually began to distance themself from other trolls altogether.
A Little Help
In their late teen sweeps, Reynal had become deeply-rooted in the way they viewed themself. They found themselves alone and depressed, but too afraid to go out into the world and face it like everyone else. They preferred to stay inside where it was safer, because if they could just ride things out until they were off planet, maybe they could have another shot in their adult life? However, despite his fears, he also found himself incredibly frustrated and angry at this time- at himself and at the world. Reynal had a habit of venting their anger into punching pillows, almost as a form of self-punishment, for not being able to do things other bronze blood trolls his age could. However, things changed one night when he came across a particular gold blood. They ended up crossing paths a few times, much to Reynal's discomfort at first, but this gold blood managed to coax himself into Reynal's life at a slow and gradual rate, allowing Reynal to slowly warm up to him. After some time, it was revealed that the gold blood worked for an underground rebel group that was planning to overthrow the Empress on the heir's trial night. With the promise of being able to work safely and anonymously from home, Reynal ended up agreeing to join the cause to vent his frustrations with Alternia towards something of use while still being able to maintain his own sense of security. Reynal has since them put more of their discomfort and anger into the surveillance work that they do for the rebels, knowing that in some way, it hurts the government that has allowed them and so many others to hurt in silence under its system. He has little faith in the rebels ever amounting to anything, but he was guaranteed safety which provides him with some level of comfort going forward..
Land of Castles and Constellations
LoCaC, in its modern day, is a very serene and mellow place. Long ago, the many kingdoms of warring consort factions would battle and declare war on each other in a competition to gain the most land and have the largest kingdom on the planet. However, when the denizen, Elpis, intervened, they put an end to all wars and rivalry by establishing divine perimeters that each kingdom could not expand outside of. After that, a long age of peace was established on LoCaC- former enemies reached out in the name of Elpis to forge truces to keep the peace. Each kingdom's brown wolf consorts place much emphasis on the constellations and stars above which started after they discovered a source of power from small "star crystals" that would sometimes come down and land on the surface. Many used the star constellations as a map or guide for navigating the planet while others used them to tell stories about legendary heroes or the mythical deities they pray to for strength and good fortune. Unfortunatley, this time of peace has begun to reach its end as a mysterious corruptive plague has begun to sweep across the planet from one end to another, rotting crops, deteriorating castle walls, and killing off consorts. Many refuse to flee their home, insisting that the hero of Hope is destined to come and save them, only to be swallowed up by the darkness soon after. Others have lost all hope in being saved and run away, without any of the faith they once so highly-held. As the Rogue of Hope of his session, it is Reynal's job to bring hope to the consorts of his land by finding the source of the corruption, defeating it, and racing against time to save Elpis from falling under the same corruptive influence.

Related
Reynal finds his lusus to be the only creature on Alternia he can fully trust outside himself. He has maintained a stable relationship with them and often depends on them for comfort and support. He enjoys brushing his lusus and thinks of them as both a good caretaker and his best friend.
Initially, Reynal didn't think anything of this troll and wanted nothing to do with him as with any other troll. But, after Reynal got wrapped up in a reality-altering game of Sgrub with some other trolls, he was forced into a position of interacting more with the troll in order to survive. Overtime, he began to grow closer to Makxie and started to develop flushed feelings for him.
Reynal hardly knew this troll until after he started playing Sgrub with the other trolls he got wrapped up in. As a member of the rust caste located just below Reynal's position in the bronze caste, Reynal and Holly discovered they had a lot in common when it came to their experiences with Alternia and bonded over their shared struggles, eventually becoming friends.
