Arinoh Zheema
Basics
Personality
When Arinoh was a young pupa, she was a fairly relaxed and benevolent troll with a passsion for nursing. This quirk probably developed in her early sweeps due to her lack of social contact with other purplebloods and the necessity to dull her innate aggression to care for her lusus who frequently fell sick. However, after she moved to the city with her lusus to provide better care for her lusus, she became exposed to the culture of other purplebloods and was swept away and "lead down the path of the dark carnival." During that time, Arinoh became something of a subjuggulator like her peers, giving into anger and perpetutating needless violence until the day her lusus died when she realized she had forgotten her original mission. After that, she holed up in her hive and rarely travels outside now, burdened by immense guilt and regret. She was once kind and thoughtful, then she became abrasive and cruel, and now she is a burned-out ghost of her former self, trying to find the right direction to steer her life now. In her spare time, she finds peace in cooking, gardening, reading, mixing drinks for herself, and meditating.

Story
Early Life
Arinoh originally lived far away from the city with her lusus; their hive was located next to a deep ravine near the northern mountainrange. Arinoh usually went out to hunt for small creatures in the ravine and foraged from bushes and trees that dotted the base of the mountainrange to keep herself and her lusus fed. To make her life even more diffcult, her lusus was also prone to falling gravely ill semi-frequently and always required her full attention to nurse them back to good health. She had always had a keen sense for knowing how to nurse her lusus back to health and always knew where to look in the ravine for edible food. Not only was she fairly gifted with knowing about the flora and fauna around her, but she was also familiar with the golden city of Prospit from an early age. She woke up on Prospit shortly after a large wildfire had torn through the ravine and ravaged everything in sight, save for her lone hive. In the clouds of Skaia, she saw herself leaving her hive and going out towards the city to rebuild her life there with her lusus. She figured that it not only could moving to the city improve the quality of their lives, but it would also be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Alternia and about other trolls like her. Convinced that this was what the next step of her life should be, she packed all her supplies and left with her lusus, making the long trek to the city to settle down in their new, permanent home.
City Life
After she moved to the city, Arinoh learned fairly quickly that she didn't think the same way as most of the other trolls of her caste. Where most other purplebloods didn't think at all about the lives they ended for fun, Arinoh initially felt great uncertainty at raising her morningstar to others. However, she was determined to learn about and understand her peers and was eventually introduced to the common religious practices of purplebloods. This was where she learned about the subjuggulator cult and their way of life. With time, young Arinoh was swept up in their flawed ideas, not knowing better at the time, and began indulging in the same murderous subjuggulation joyrides as her peers. She grew more comfortable with letting go of her self-control and giving into intrusive, murderous temptations. Things went on like this until one fateful night in her late teen sweeps when her group had stepped into the turf of a rival gang of subjuggulators, ticking them off and causing them to lash out. It was only after Arinoh confronted their leader and almost lost her own life that she finally realized the grave mistake she had made joining these people. She remembered her original purpose for moving to the city- to passively learn about Alternian life and about the lives of others- and realized she had been sent down a path of destruction rather than understanding. Arinoh distanced herself from her now former-friends and mostly kept to herself after that.
Land of Fossils and Ruins
LoFaR was once a hub of great influence and innovation. In its hay day, the purple turtles that once inhabited its great towers were masters of technology, capable of harnessing the sun's rays as well as the core of the planet to power entire cities that used to move and fly through the sky. Their towns were built to coexist with nature and to leave the surface as untouched as possible, leaning towards a solarpunk style of architectural design. However, a great catasrophe befell this once culturally rich hub within the incipisphere. It's not known what exactly caused the Great Blackout, but what is known is that there came a day when all the cities' power suddenly failed. Without anything to keep their machines running, all the cities, one by one, came crashing down into the earth and every civilization fell within one singular day. All that remains of their paradise are the scattered ruins that dot the surface of LoFaR and the few remaining turtles that travel the surface, most as nomads, a few forming small encampments. As the Seer of Life of her game session, it is Arinoh's job to solve the mystery of the Great Blackout and to find a way to prevent something of that magnitude from happening again by analyzing what remains of their former livelihoods and by confronting Phanes, the elusive denizen of life who has not left their holy Skytree for centuries.

Despite how much care her lusus needed, they were always a kind and affectionate caretaker who enjoyed following Arinoh around in both her new and old hives to the best of their ability. Arinoh first met Hikosi when she was out visiting one of her favorite bars after an exhausting night. She found them to be a fun and enjoyable troll to talk to, and saw each other regularly at the location.
