Appearance:

Gwyzelle is a dark grey otter.  The end of her limbs have a gradient that’s slowly turning to black. She  has two dark grey stripes on her white muzzle. She has yellow eyes and  white eyebrows, as well as a few whiskers. Her hair consists out of a  big ponytail, having several layers that stick out, with most of her  bangs tucked backwards. The sides of her bangs however are let loose,  slightly covering the sides of her face. She is slightly taller than  average and has a slender build. Her overall posture comes over as  bubbly, often swaying from side to side. Gwyzelle likes to wear pastel  colours. She has a cream white off the shoulder shirt and a baby blue  cord skirt. She also wears black step in shoes. When she tries to come  over more professional, she instead wears a white blouse and black high  waist jeans, with a black lace tied around her neck. Her hunter outfit  adds a long grey jacket, some boots, as well as sever belts that has  equipment on it. 

Something she's always taking with her, is her  steel blue bracelet. It's a metal bracelet that has three tiny flasks  attached to them, all with a different substance; every hunter needs the  alchemical basics on their person.

Personality:

Even  though Gwyzelle and Craid come from the same town and the same family,  they are vastly different in their base personality. Where her cousin  would like to quietly read a book in silence during his spare time,  Gwyzelle prefers to actually do something with her hands, making  handicrafts while loud music booms across the entire room. Gwyzelle is  excitable, curious and creative. When there is a problem, others may  find a very normal, easy to use solution. Gwyzelle instead creates a  solution that might look very out-of-the box, that might sound very  weird, but it probably does work. The fact that she comes from a town  that deals a lot with mythology and culture makes her often come over as  outlandish, but everyone can see that Gwyzelle is a good-meaning soul. 

It  doesn’t mean however that Gwyzelle can’t be a calm individual. From her  hometown she has learned to appreciate the quiet moments for herself.  She loves to sit down with people and share a cup of tea, or picknick  while enjoying beautiful landscapes. Sadly though she quickly gets bored  when things are not interesting enough. Gwyzelle’s very impatient and  doesn’t like to stick somewhere for long if nothing piques her interest.  Her active nature often seems to be her downfall. She often doesn’t  notice crucial details, walking away from a problem before it is solved  just because it doesn’t interest her anymore, making it difficult for  her to sometimes get work done.

It is taking some time for her to  get used to living in a busy city. In the past she was always the  noisiest around, but now she constantly gets distracted by things that  she isn’t used to. She also isn’t used to certain mannerisms that people  from outside of town use. She honestly should’ve studied up on it  before she came here. Now she has to learn how to behave ‘normally’ in  this new environment. Luckily for her though, Gwyzelle is overall fun to  hang around with. She likes everyone around her to be happy, and she  does her best to make sure that actually happens.

Abilities:

General:

Gwyzelle  grown up in Rahillikus, a town famous for their monster hunters.  Gwyzelle has had the training to become one. She has extensive knowledge  of many mythical creatures. Their past, as well as their strengths and  weaknesses are usually known by Gwyzelle, due to her years of learning,  as well as her current study at the university. She has also had the  physical training to make sure she would actually stand a chance against  them, which has been very useful for her. She knows her way with  several weapons.

Equipment:

Gwyzelle  has a plethora of items dedicated to get rid of mythical creatures  might they be disturbing. She has alchemical equipment to make certain  concoctions that help her with it. She also has her whip, Epistula,  which has been magically enhanced to be extra hurtful to certain  creatures. Next to that she often seems to have other stuff with her  that helps her in her pursuit of monsters.

She also has a small  polished stone with her that she likes to hold when she is stressed or  afraid, and there aren't any hands to hold.

Social relations:

Craid Taron: Gwyzelle’s  cousin. When she was 7, Craid left her hometown to live far away in  Scelus, trying to start a life for himself as a cook. Gwyzelle has  always idolized him. Whenever Craid was around, he always had some time  to play and chat with her. That's where she mostly got the idea that the  big city is great, with thousands of opportunities.  Without Craid,  Gwyzelle would’ve never been where she was now. She is extremely  appreciative of Craid, since he offers her a place to visit whenever  needed, as well as some physical and mental help with moving from  Rahillikus to Scelus.

Alina Marilayra: Technically  Alina’s family, so Gwyzelle considers her as such. She has seen her a  few times before and they seem to get along well! They seem to have  similar interests in some fronts, and are both amused by the interests  that they don’t share! Gwyzelle’s now watching anime with Alina so she  accidentally cursed her. While Craid may be support for her with moving  to Scelus, Alina has become Gwyzelle’s main form of mental support.  She’s always open to talk. She also introduced Gwyzelle to Alina’s  friend group, which she can appreciate. Having friends is nice, and  Alina gives that to her. The only thing that’s less fun is that Alina  never cleans up her mess in the apartment. But that’s fine because at  least she can do something back???

Katie Briggs: Katie teaches Gwyzelle a lot about the city culture, mostly that the  city is loud and rude, but also very cute if a boyfriend shows up. Or is  that just Katie?

Luka Frolig: Luka  and Gwyzelle seem to click really well! They’re both very excitable and  bubbly, so it was only logical for them to become good friends. They  might be sometimes annoying the others in the group by their constant  loudness, but at least they’re having fun! Gwyzelle doesn’t completely  get Luka’s obsession with boys, but you can’t be the same in every way.  That’d be boring!

Rhyss Frolig, Derek Quenevere and Katie Briggs: Being the other members of the main group, she meets them often, and  find that they all have their own similarities to her. Rhyss matches her  in her energy. They almost seem to power each other up sometimes, which  can be quite nasty for others. Derek is really good at telling and  listening to stories, which is always nice if you find a new myth nobody  has ever heard of. Katie can be quite annoyed of her sometimes when  she’s being too energetic, but on the other hand, when Katie’s being  loud, Gwyzelle seems to go great with her. Gwyzelle’s glad to be around  all of them, and hopes that others enjoy her presence!

History:

Gwyzelle  was born and raised in Rahillikus, a village that is on the other side  of the country. Her parents, just like several other families in this  village, where mythical hunters, trying to scare and hunt down mythical  creatures that were disturbing peace on the edge of the country. It was  because of this that Gwyzelle was also trained to take care of these  monsters. She seemed to be quite skills in making potions and brews from  books that are useful for the defense against mythical creatures.

Once  every so often, Gwyzelle’s cousin Craid came over and visited the town  to meet with his family. He always had new stories to tell about the big  city, which always interested the little otter. Motivated by Craid’s  stories, Gwyzelle quickly determined to eventually move to Scelus as  well. The rest of her childhood she has tried to figure out how to carry  her skills over to an environment like Scelus. She decided that her  knowledge about mythical creatures could maybe be useful there. She  tried to learn as much as she could before she was eventually old enough  to move to Scelus.

Craid was already prepared for her moving  over, and offered a place for her, as well as a job as waitress at  Restaurant Bittersweet. Alina was about to move out of the house, but  needed a little push. Gwyzelle was the perfect candidate, as they now  shared an apartment in Scelus. Alina seemed to be a good house partner  for Gwyzelle. They got along well. Due to having a job there, as well as  Alina getting a good impression from her, she introduced Gwyzelle to  her own friends that have worked at the restaurant. There seemed to be a  click.

She’s currently studying mythology at the university,  which she hopes to become a teacher herself in eventually. She’s also  trying to find out if her monster hunter job could be useful here.
