Personality

There's no lion in the Regiment more happy to live in their own head than Acantha. The young lioness is full of love and joy for the world around her, but far more for the world she makes up for herself. She imagines all sorts of grand stories, and ever since the group found her and welcomed her in, she's happy to wander around, and when not imagining grand tales of lions and dragons, she will attempt to 'assist' the other lions with their tasks. This usually doesn't end well. She isn't one to listen to what others say, and will do her own thing. If she wants to help, she's going to try and help, no matter what she's being told. Additionally, when Acantha doesn't want to help, she doesn't help. If her assistance could actually be helpful but she's not feeling like it, it's not going to happen.

History

Acantha can't remember much about where she came from, or what she did in the past. She knows she must have had parents, but they were in her life for so short of a time that they don't really exist in her mind. She wandered for much of her young life, up until she was found by Laius and Brontes in the fields of Starheart, near the ruins.

The two lions gave her a place to stay, food and a bed, and told her to not go into the ruins, no matter what. For some reason, that was the only thing that the older lions said that she took to heart. Perhaps it was how serious they looked when they spoke about it, but she knew right away that there were dangers below, things she didn't want to get involved in. Acantha didn't want to grow up to be a fighter, after all, and while she loved adventures, she preferred the cheerful ones that led to laughing in fields of flowers and climbing up and down the dens of the Regiment's home. No, when she grew up she'd make art for everyone, to cheer them up when they got home from their long battles.
