Likes: Watching the moon, fashion, weapons, gladiator-style battles, sweets, meat, ribbons, and space.

Dislikes: Glades, the space police, horror movies, being seen as a "delicate  princess", confined spaces, oranges, and irresponsible magic users.

Personality: On the outside, Luna is a sweet and calm person who generally gets  along with others. However, deep down she's depressed and lost due to the destruction of her homeland, and holds great contempt for those responsible. She's quick to get serious if the situation calls for it. Since Lunarians are a warrior-people, Luna has occasionally be found to have a strong blood lust for her enemies and desire for revenge. In the past she was much more hot-headed and impulsive, but has eased up over the years due to experiencing life in a society different than the one she grew up in. She has a bit of a playful side and will occasionally join Shine in messing with the non-magical characters. Luna cares deeply about her friends, and will resort to violence if they are harmed.

History: Luna was born as the youngest princess of Lunaria and has an older brother. For the first part of her life, she grew up in Lunaria where she learned the warrior way of her people and shared much of their values. One day Lunaria was attacked by space conqueror Glades, causing Luna and Alt to flee. However, Luna quickly learned her brother was only helping her escape and intended to fight Glades himself. Before she could protest, they were attacked and Luna ended up falling down to the Star Kingdom with injuries where she was found by Shine. The two quickly became friends, and Shine promised to help Luna save her homeland. This plan was short-lived when Glades attacked the Star Kingdom, causing the pair to flee to Animal Planet where they became  separated. While on the run, Luna decided to take up a new identity to  protect herself, and renamed herself Madeline "Maddy" after a character in a movie she saw. As the years passed, Luna learned that the people of Animal Planet were much different than the ones on her home in Lunaria, noticing how they lived shorter lives, had different values, ate  different food, etc. She eventually opened her mind to others and the new planet, but always dreamed of returning home. On one unfortunate day, she was captured by some villains unrelated to Glades and was sealed in a treasure chest for several years. She was finally freed when Sketches and Lightning opened the chest, but she had been reduced to a weakened state and had been reduced to a blob of light matter. It's here that she's also reunited with Shine, who recognizes her but initially doesn't remember her name due to having brain fog. She decides to tag along with them in hopes that Shine will regain his memory and that she'll get her magic back.

Current-Bio: Luna currently lives on Animal Planet and is almost always found tagging along with Sketches and Lightning on one of their adventures. She's very rarely seen without Shine and is almost always guaranteed to be with him. Similarly to Shine, Luna often explains various magic and alien stuff to Sketches and Lightning depending on the current situation. Due to living on Animal Planet for a long time, she knows the planet and its locations very well. In battle she often acts as a healer/magic user, but once she gets her humanoid form back she is a much more physical fighter (her whole outfit consists of weapons: her bow turns into a scimitar, her earrings [that you can't see] are grenades, etc.). Once learning how to transform into other forms, Luna spends a lot of time in Star Fox form. She still dreams of getting revenge for the genocide of her people.

Meta-History: Luna was created around the same time as Shine, but unlike him she's gone through a lot of changes. Originally Luna was just a blob of Light Matter named Matty/Maddy. It wasn't until much later that her real name being Luna and her current backstory was developed. I'm not sure if  anything inspired the change, but it's one of the changes I made that I really like. Like Shine, her species ages very slowly and the current events of the story are moving a lot faster for her than the other characters.

Relationships with Other Characters:

Sketches: Luna and Sketches are good friends. Luna trusts Sketches with details of her past.

Lightning: Luna and Lightning are good friends.

Shine: Luna and Shine are best friends and are rarely seen without each other. They get along very well.

Latin: Luna and Latin are good friends.

Alt: Luna is Alt's younger sister, and was very close to him. His absence in the present causes her a lot of distress.

Flutter: Luna is friends with Flutter, but is known to tease him.

Lopinny: Luna and Lopinny are friends.

Shao: Luna and Shao are friends.

Koro: Luna and Koro are friends.

Chibi: Luna and Chibi are friends.

Bloom: Luna and Bloom are friends.

Blossom: Luna and Blossom are friends.

Shadow-cat: Luna openly hates Shadow-cat.

Glades: Luna despises Glades for her crimes against Lunaria and is very open about her desire for revenge.

Nemmy: Luna is good friends with Nemmy.
