Likes: All you can eat buffets, rock music, flower fields, dark magic, planning ahead, and trolling the others.

Dislikes: Questions about the weather, people catching onto her schemes, working, and going back to her hometown.

Personality: Jade is a huge troll. She spends most of her time and energy elaborately trolling the others (mainly Lightning) in schemes that they can't figure out how she planned. In the first story arc Jade was a main antagonist, and thus showed her malicious side more often. She lightens up in the rest of the story, but never truly loses her mischievous side. Despite her trolling nature, Jade cares deeply about her friends. After the first arc, she notably becomes calmer.

Home: Animal Planet: Miniman Town

History: Sometime before the start of the story, Jade lost her family and began traveling around until she met Melody, who became her first true friend. However, shortly after this meeting she also met Shadow-Cat, who forced her to join SAC (Shadow Animal Corporation) or die. Jade eventually becomes a respected member of the evil organization and even gets enough money to get her own personal house in the sky (literally). Outside of SAC, she takes up a job at the local weather station. However, once Swirly, Sketches, and Lightning enter the picture and also begin looking for the Ameritis Crystals, Jade finds her work to be more difficult, especially when Shadow-Cat begins threatening her friend's life if she screws up again. After the events of the first arc, Jade leaves SAC but does not become an ally of Sketches and Lightning until later in the second arc. After this she slowly becomes part of the main group of friends despite them not wanting her there at first.

Current-Bio: Jade goes to school with the others and is in the same class as Dark. She can also be seen on the news program's weather forcast segment as the weather girl. She occasionally joins Sketches and Lightning on their adventures, but sometimes also randomly shows up during them. She especially enjoys trolling Lightning with elaborate pranks after learning how easy it is to trick him. She's also known to use her powers in exchange for tickets to all you can eat buffets. Jade also plays in a band with her friends Striga and Melody.

Meta-History: Jade was one of the last Chaos Puff characters I created and has not been around as long as the others. Despite this, her design takes some cues from both Lightnings and from the Dark/Flying Chao. Originally she was going to be purple, but I then learned that jade is in fact a shade of green (idk why I thought jade was purple but that's one reason why Jade the Eevee is purple  ). She also has (had?) a sister named Shade but Shade is dead and gets no design or mention ever again.

Relationships with Other Characters:

Swirly: Jade is initially ordered to be antagonistic towards Swirly, but does not personally know her and eventually questions why SAC is after her. After switching sides, Jade and Swirly eventually become friends.

Sketches: Jade and Sketches are initially enemies, but after the first arc she eventually becomes his friend. She trolls him less due to Sketches usually catching on to her schemes.

Lightning: Jade and Lightning are initially enemies, but after the events of the first arc she and him eventually become friends. After learning how easy  it is to mess with Lightning, Jade decided to make him her primary trolling target.

Light: Jade and Light become good friends over the story.

Dark: Jade and Dark are good friends and sometimes hang out.

Sparky: Jade and Sparky are good friends.

Thunder: Jade and Thunder sometimes talk to each other, but they don't consider each other friends.

Sakai: Jade is one of the first people Sakai is seen talking to. Despite going against all logic, Sakai seems to trust Jade more than some of the others. Jade, in turn, refers to Sakai as "Akari", leading to confusion from the others since they though Akari was Sakai's last name.

Kitty: Jade and Kitty get along well due to them both being into dark magic.

Striga: Jade and Striga are best friends. Somehow Jade rarely manages to make Striga angry.

Melody: Jade and Melody are best friends. Jade is very protective of Melody.

Shadow-Cat:  During the first arc of the story, Shadow-Cat is Jade's boss. Jade never truly likes him and would often put on a facade of friendliness in his prescence.
