Dislikes: Nonsense, rushing into things, Shadow-cat, and vegetables.

Personality: Dark is very calm, collected, and cool. Even in the most stressful of situations, Dark manages to maintain a cool head. He's very calculated in his actions, never acting until he's completely sure. Did I mention he's super cool? Dark rarely fumbles and seems to excel with grace. He's also known to be rather competitive when Swirly is involved and will challenge her to all kinds of contests.

Home: ???? (neighboring planet to Animal Planet)

History: Dark was born on one of the planets neighboring Animal Planet and appears to be that planets ruler. Before the start of the story, Dark and Swirly had been acquainted in a friendly rivalry. When Swirly set off to stop Shadow-cat's evil plans, Dark originally intended to help her, but when he realized what Shadow-cat was capable of, he re-evaluated his plans, knowing that Swirly would likely get captured if not killed by the villain. He ended up joining SAC as a double agent, but decides to wait until he is absolutely certain before he betrays Shadow-cat. His plans are complicated further by Swirly's memory erasure, but he eventually manages to become an aloof ally to the heroes.

Current-Bio: Dark is currently an ally/rival of sorts to Swirly and friends. While it takes them while to trust him, they eventually realize they'll need his help to defeat Shadow-cat. Despite being on Swirly's side, he's not afraid to challenge her to a fight.

Meta-History: Dark actually has origins as a character my brother created during our childhood. While Swirly was my main character, Dark was his, and the two characters were sort of rivals. Dark almost had a Vegeta/Seto Kabia-like role as he seemed to flip from being a hero and villain depending on the story. His species was always called "Dark's species" and his planet was always called "Dark's Planet" (we're very creative kids okay). As we grew older, we'd often use our characters less and Dark especially fell out of use. When I decided to start a comic using my old characters, I knew I had to bring Dark back but had to edit his  role a bit. Don't worry, he'll eventually be Swirly's ally/rival as originally intended. His bio is a bit vague sadly.

Relationships with Other Characters:

Swirly: Dark and Swirly were friends prior to the story, but had a shaky relationship after Swirly's amnesia and Dark's apparent turn to evil. However, this changes with the story.

Sketches: Dark at first dislikes Sketches, but later respects him as an ally.

Lightning: Dark at first dislikes Lightning, but later respects him as an ally.

Eggy: Dark mostly ignores Eggy, much to the latters annoyance. Eventually he respects the young dragon.

Shadow-cat: Dark dislikes Shadow-cat, and is initially successful in tricking the villain into thinking he's on his side.
