A....A HEEM HEEm....... (;へ;)
"H-hey hey- it’s okay- it’s not your fault, alright? we're okay, we're here. Its... It’s going to be okay this time, I promise."
Their purpose. Solace had been made to hurt the child, a grotesque reminder of all the people who had cared for them and had died because of it. But he refuses to accept that. He’s been given a second chance. He’s going to make sure that theyre loved, and safe. They deserve it after everything.
b-big? nice??? man??? who offers you care? support without question??? gee sure hope this doesnt awaken anything in me, ahaha
Sorry Vanilla tried to loot your not corpse! Please, let me make it up to you, I was just about to get the ingredients for dinner... You can stay if you don't have anywhere else to go, it'd be nice to have a conversation partner!
His heart and anchor, she refined him and helped point him in the right direction. The half remembered ghost of losing her once has hardened him, made him determined to make sure no harm comes to her again. unfortunately, it keeps finding her anyways. Anxiously worried about her health, wishes he could see her smile again.
Before meeting Foggy and the others, the world was just something she was around to participate in.
Foggy’s development to do better as a person, helped reignite her own desire to live.
He became her best friend and driving force. Someone she trusted to have her back and would do anything for.
Even if that included living through everything she tried to bury, and a system that’s primed to leave people behind.
—
She’s not gonna disappear on him this time; and she’d be damned if she let anyone try to take her from him again.
Heya, kiddo! Just the usual, y'feel?
Dad, i guess? Hes nice enough, though trouble has a habit of following him...still, has grown to care about him and respect him a good bit in their time together.
"Pray Tell, What The Hell Is This.... 'Among Us'?"
"Hm, Scholar, i think you're acting kind of...oddly. In a manner which some might call. *sus*"
It only was a matter before someone pulled out a dagger- better it be in Mira's hands than Orbit's. Let this stage be their graves.
Two stars trapped in a twirling dance. The collapse was inevitable, but we'll make such beautiful corpses. Smile for me, Mira. Smile for all of them.
The dedicated Butterfly Doctor and their faithful assistant, Jodie. It's always nice to have a helping hand!
[You are not dying on Lillian's watch. Get. Up.]
The Good Doctors Assistant. Gave him a bit of a scare the first time she collapsed, but not to worry! The doctor made sure she got back up. After all, they have important work to do!
[One day, the work will be over. Will he let her rest then? Get up, Jodie. get up.]
The poor alchemist was saved by Lillian in the past, and granted a form of what he desired- immortality. Considering Alchemy's interest in the matter, it wasn't too much of a surprise that he sought to follow Lillian and their work. They didn't mind at all! But after an... unfortunate accident of sorts, the position of doctor's assistant was opened up to him. How delightful that they get to continue their work together! Just be wary of getting on his bad side again. You already know what that looks like, Alchemy.
Spared from the thing he feared most, Alchemy at first viewed Lillian with almost... reverence. Here, this man achieving what he couldn't for so many years. But it was still an imperfect, AGONIZING, solution. For moment he and the doctor worked to tweak, and understand the effects of the talismans. Unfortunately after an experiment gone wrong, he learned exactly where the doctors priorities lie. The doctor values life, but there are fates much, MUCH worse then death.
Trusts her to be helpful and get things done, but doesn’t love her penance for ghost hunting and the occult. He’d rather go Away from the spooky mystery thank you VERY much.
Thinks of Arley as the only real responsible one here, appreciates the voice of reason, but not when he holds her back from figuring out more. She's a mystery gal!
*sticks a hand out* “Would you like to join my religion?” Was the first person Travis ran into at the hotel. While Travis may have been a partial contributor to pissing off Boney ala throwing a prized potted plant at the revolving door, the Daisy Gang has all but adopted the boy son at this point. It’s hard to say no to the kid when he’s looking up at you with those starstruck, you-are-the-coolest kinda face. After the events of the hotel, Arley sorta ended up taking him in! He may not be able to convince him to join his neat “religion”, but getting soft tacos on Tuesdays is close enough. Arley seems quieter as of recent! Hard to tell with Travis filling the silence by all but bouncing off the walls. Seriously, if Arley doesn’t get back soon,Travis is going to find something to do! And knowing him, it usually involves a lot of shenanigans…
"Ah- maybe not today buddy, I'm a bit busy-" Met Travis on his way to collect his stuff from the car, but ended up implicated in plant murder with him. He couldn't just leave the poor kid to catch the heat-. While he doesn't approve of the kids desire for explosions, he does think hes a good kid, if a bit high energy.
after everything ended, the two were pretty close, and... with Travis having nowhere *good* to go, well... he couldn't just let the kid go off on his own. its hard to juggle travis's high energy along with the rest of his life but... its nice, in it own way.
This is the last time hes going to trust any well dressed, yellow themed men. All it's earned him so far is head trauma. Will be on the cats case, just as soon as he stops being concussed on the floor of the laundromat.
Stupid, gullible old man. Significantly lacking in shovel resistance. He served his purpose helping Mo find his dear spider lily. What a shame.. for Casey. *VIOLENT BONK SFX*
“Oh, really? You’ll have to introduce me sometime! A wonderful young lass such as yourself must have excellent taste in friends.” Fellow vigilante! Is a little worried about someone so young being tangled up in all this… better stay close and make sure she’s safe.
“Say, you remind me a lot of a friend of mine… really, the resemblance is almost uncanny, haha!” Fellow vigilante!
"You BASTARD!" Former coworkers, Casey put the pieces together about spades true identity just a little to late. Now he has a lovely forehead scar and a grudge to remember the other man by.
You just had to get in the way, didn't you detective?
Francis Rivera wanted to be best. The top, the boss. Unfortunately he had two… problems. In the way. Stonks gave him a solution- seemingly free of charge! Of course, the cement shoes a few months later covered the bill.
(was it worth it, to trade your soul for ambition? will you ever be able to fill the hole again?)
A poor sucker who accepted a *generous* offer from Stonks to get what he oh so wanted...to bad there was an inevitable price that came with that choice, huh? He loves long walks on the beach, sometimes you get to see the most lovely sights!
Wow! This Child Hates Me And Is Really Good With A Nerf Gun!
Complicated. Used to be very close in his past cycle but... After he went a bit off the deep end then, she doesn't trust him as much anymore, even being mad at him and blaming him for some current events that are not even his doing. Because the moment he showed back up, everything started falling apart again.
They were called "Duck" when they knew "Mr Ninny", accepted as one of the many children around struggling with labor and soon very quickly adopted into the family. They grew close and Duck was attached to Finnegan, though he was only to become one of the few close figures who'd soon be *scorched* into their memory of a harsh circumstance.
Ah... thats a child. Guess i gotta parent that. Sure hope i dont die horrifically infront of them, traumatizing them horribly!
"H-HEY! get back here-!" Something about her make his head hurt. He's so, so close, why cant just *FIND* the answer!
"Dear Mr. Detective, what clues have you?"
[A pitiful man, lost in the maze built out of the clutter of what he has desperately pinned as "clues".]
His wrist... hurts.
A mirror of his rage through the years.
And yet, perhaps a second chance could be found?
*points at the pancakes* Thats bait
Cam was a boy Keen remembered spotting once with Icarus in a forest, however he did not get to properly meet and get to know him. He wondered if he was perhaps a friend of the bird boy's, but knows little of what has gone down for the poor chameleon...Please join the found family Cam, we have pancakes...He promises he just wants to help the poor kid out, he's been through so much already. His dadly wiles are simply taking affect and if he ends up adopting then so be it, SON.
Had somewhat of a playfully antagonistic relationship in his previous cycle, and foggy had what might be called "an obvious crush" on the cowboy. Unfortunately whatever relationship they could've had was cute short- as foggy lost his heart, and began to hunt liar. Keen was able to stop foggy from doing much more harm, but it cost him a leg and the remains of their friend group.
In the current Cycle he feels... guilty. He trusts Keen to do whats right, but he also has a healthy dose of fear about him. its... hard to sort things out in his head, really. forgive him?
Foggy in his previous cycle was someone Keen had a relatively laidback friendship with, surprisingly enough. Maybe it was Foggy's goofy and nervous little charm that peaked the man's interest, or the playful banters shared that have sometimes ended with or started an accidental tease or result of embarrassment for the green man, which at times flew over the sharpshooter's head. But on that fateful day when the grief of a friend's death drove the shifty individual to kill with vengeance, Keen was forced to put a bullet through the man's heart. Heart breaking, really. Now there is a subtle air of unease and guilt around the shorter Foggy when Keen found him, maybe when things finally calm down he can try to talk to him about what happened.
Wait a minute. You seem *awful* familiar….
"I can't quite place it, but I feel...an amount of shame and guilt related to this man. please stop interrogating me in this manner I promise I'll talk, I'm just confused--"
Was taken under the care of Evergreen in the AU. While initially nervous, he gradually eased up and felt safe enough to detransform in her presence. Clings to her as a pillar of safety and can often be found snugly by her side. His fears that he would remain powerless once again in the event of something bad happening to his family keeps him up at night at times.
Picked him up off the streets when he was just a cat- nervous little thing that- despite not being a part of the puzzle- solidified himself in her heart anyways. she was rather surprised when it turned out he was a whole ass kid- but at that point she was in too deep. Is glad that he trusts her so much- and hopes that she can not only keep him safe- but also help him grow out of his shell.
