The Nullax Region
The Nullax region is a place filled with wacky-ass pokémon that learnt how to behave like humans. Some of these pokémon work jobs alongside with human, others willingly choose to be with trainers to become battle pokémon. The majority of the pokémon and humans in the stories below just live whatever life they want to live.
Just incase the wall of lore gets too big once I've finished completely writing it out
A great war broke out two thousand years ago in a region known as ‘Nullax’. The war eventually ended when the resources were depleting at such a rapid rate that continuing the war would be pointless. Most of humans and their pokémon that once lived in there left it after the land was scorched and drained of its goods, the few that didn't leave rebuild the region with the wild pokémon in mind, meaning that there were only a few major cities and most of the larger, individual houses were on the outskirts of these cities.
Some of the abandoned buildings from the previous civilization were demolished as there was no need for them, others were inhabited by the wild pokémon and became their homes. They decorated and rebuilt some parts of those homes to accommodate their lifestyles and certain types of pokémon(mainly psychic types and the more humanoid mons) learnt how to use technology, such as smartphones and computers, without the assistance of humans - it did take them a few generations. Those pokémon used their knowledge to teach every other type of pokémon and, soon enough, a lot of pokémon took up roles that would typically be done by humans. Some of them moved to the cities to get jobs and work alongside humans.
Diagla was pleased with the progress that the people and pokémon have made after the war, although, a tad wary of the idea of pokémon being able to utilise resources and materials on the same level as a human. They feared that the pokemon of Nullax would end up creating the same mistake the humans did. They feared that another war was just on the horizon. Fortunately to them, a few powerful pokemon opposed this use of structuring their world similarly to that of the humans and, so, made it their goal to convince their fellow mons to dial back on their materialistic wants, questioning them on if they needed to live this new lifestyle.
Some were convinced and threw away their new tools, living in the woods in peace far away from the cities of the old. Others weren’t however and, to the shock of a certain hybrid legendary, most of those that weren’t convinced were the psychic types. Many psychic types believed that the old way of living wasn’t as harmonious as it was now, and they should let all kinds of pokemon embrace this new age. They were working alongside humans, some even working as their superiors. They now had the choice to fight in battles for sport, rather than it being randomly decided on what a particular human wanted.

Most psychic pokémon species are native to this region and are the most common kinds of pokémon to be found in Nullax. An interesting trait of the pokemon there is that most of them speak english with a mix between unovan(americian) and galarian(british) slang.
Due to all species of pokemon now being capable having of human or near-human sentience, the meat used in this region is plant-based.
There are a small handful of regional variants and only, like, three fakemons(all are made in a laboratory as super soldiers for a potential war).
Locations in Nullax:
- Wishbone Valley: a place inhabited by a surprising amount of ice types. Continuing forward through it will eventually get you to Southeast Nullax.
- Wishbone Lake: a large lake located in the middle of Wishbone Valley. Many, rare species of water type pokemon can be found there.
- The Golden Wheatfields: A field of wheat that maintains its lovely colour even during winter. There’s also a bench and a sign indicating a transport vehicle of sorts that regularly goes to this location.
- Southwest Nullax: a grassy plain with small flowers and no actual name. Continuing west there it gets you to The Golden Wheatfields. Sometimes, it's called ‘route 24’ for some reason.
- Southeast Nullax: a grassy field with a hill that holds an open temple for the worship of Dialga. A shepherd and her family live in the temple, so it is sometimes overrun by mareep. Going from south there gets you to Wishpath Valley and going any further north from Southeast Nullax means that you’re lost. Also called 'route 48'.
- Temple of Space and Time: The temple on top of the hill in Southeast Nullax. Despite its name, this is only for the worship of Dialga as time literally allowed the region to heal from its past.
- Spinebridge: Also known as Nullax Central, it is only major city in the region.
- Almighty Mountain Pass: the path that leads to the Almighty Peak, the highest mountain in Nullax.
- The Almighty Peak: where the legendary pokemon of Nullax that are capable of flight live.

The main story is supposed to revolve around a teenage pokémon trainer, Flynn, who was partially raised by a rich family of psychic-types in the countryside. I haven’t even gotten around to making a first draft of his design yet, so you’ll have to take a look at his own pokémon(Booster, Bleriot and Sucy) to know a little about him.
Okay so, basically, Flynn wants to become Pokémon League Champion and, to do that, he has to defeat the 8 gym leaders of his region, the elite four and the prime minister who is the current champion. The prime minister only has one pokémon, isn't that weird? And so do the gym leaders and the elite four. Anyways, his own pokemon have there own wants and goals: Bleriot wants to be the fastest flyer in the world(to the point where he can outrun jets), Booster wants to be a singer and Sucy just wants to go back to her home, which is in the prehistoric era.
For now, this is a simple spin-off story(set in the same world as Distant Lands but that might change) about a hybrid pokémon called 'Matoma' who has to stop the plans of another hybrid, known as 'Tamatoa', to flood the entire region.
These are just characters that live in Nullax, but have no story relavelnce
