V met Galvanise while chasing a group that had developed a dangerous, chaos-powered weapon. V was there to destroy the weapon, and Galv was there to retrieve the weapon's power source--for V, the calculation was very simple. He's not really sure why Galv seems to like him so much.
Galv met V when the heart of chao garden--an extremely powerful, chaos-drenched jewel--was stolen by some opportunistic looters. V's willingness to hand the heart to Galv rather than confiscate it for GUN convinced Galv that V was not, in fact, the bastard he presents himself as, and he started keeping tabs on the enigmatic lizard.
Ashe's path crossed with Galv's during a confrontation with another mercenary group. He's a little baffled by Galv's behaviour, but the vontsira gets results, so he can't judge too much.
Galv ran into the Fortune Finders while trying to retrieve an artefact Selene was searching for. Ashe's conduct during the ensuing conflict led Galv to consider him trustworthy, and he told Ashe to call him any time he needed help with similar issues.
Galvanise met Selene during one of his visits to Persepia, and he keeps tabs on them after the dome was raised. Galv treats Selene as an odd sort of nephew/niece, which seems odd to most outside observers--surely Selene is much older than he is, right?
Selene has known Galvanise for most of his adult life, and the long association leads her to take his opinions more seriously than she does other mobians'. They frequently coordinate in order to secure and contain chaos artefacts and prevent them from harming those without chaos resistance.
Jade is the youngest of the unicorns of Persepia, and the two are much closer in age than they are to the rest of the city's population. Jade does his best to stay in contact with Selene, knowing that his friend is still lonely out there--but they remain separated by the dome glimmering over Persepia.
Selene was roughly a preteen when they first met Jade, and they came to consider him a sort of younger sibling. Jade is one of the few people Selene is open with, and perhaps the only one aware of just how hurt she feels over her legacy.
Spectra met Galvanise shortly after the Persepian guard brought the injured vontsira in for medical care. They quickly became friends as Spectra taught Galv how to harness and control his burgeoning chaos powers.
Galvanise met Spectra when he was brought to an infirmary in Persepia after becoming seriously injured in the nearby desert. He is immensely fond of them, and was a frequent visitor before the shield was raised, keeping in contact through calls and emails in the time since.
As the current leader of Persepia, Spectra pays close attention to the other citizens, especially those currently going through hardship. However, all Spectra can really do is be patient with Selene and wait for them to come around after the betrayal they experienced.
The second-youngest of Persepia's unicorns, still furious and ashamed at her parent's power-hungry behaviour. They aren't ready to reach out to the rest of their people, and spending time as far away from Persepia as possible led to them being isolated outside the shield.
Spectra's adoptive son, who worries that he won't be able to match up to his mother's legacy. He has never felt unloved or unappreciated, which paradoxically magnifies his concerns.
Jade's adoptive mother, who took Jade in after his parents were killed. They watch over him with a forgiving eye, hoping someday he will recover from the trauma he suffered as a child.

V and Caprice were roommates in a shared dorm during V's stint at med school. A chance reunion at the restaurant Caprice runs led to them kindling a relationship, and later marrying. V shares a lot of Vaskharr culture with Caprice, often taking him with him to the yearly clan gatherings. While neither are monogamous, they are very dedicated to each other.
Caprice hadn't seen V for close to a decade when the lizard appeared in his restaurant for a quick meal. Caprice immediately struck up a conversation with the lizard, and the two quickly bonded over shared experiences and opinions. It took Caprice a significant amount of time to convince V that he did, in fact, love him, much to Caprice's amusement.
V rescued Curie from a miserable existence in solitary confinement and helped him adjust to life in the modern world. Curie sees V as one of the kindest people in the world, which seems a little at odds with the lizard's acidic temperament.
V first encountered Curie as a nameless experiment imprisoned in an SR-controlled lab on the very outskirts of SR territory. He quickly ascertained that Curie was, in fact, harmless, and later broke in to rescue the wolf and raze the facility to the ground.
I'm going to bring you back. I swear it.
