A small rural town in America finds itself blindsided when a hoard of mutated looking people shamble through the farmer's market, completely causing chaos. It becomes apparent this is not an isolated event, but at the very least a national phenomenon. 

The survivors of the initial onslaught disperse, and many find themselves holing up inside the nearly completely constructed high school. Some are friends, others are strangers. Some are even enemies. Regardless, they have to work together, as this may be their new reality if no cure is found.
