Hatchet has spent the past years preparing to take up arms against the vile AI that created her and made her life into a living hell. Finally able to start enacting her revenge, the drawback is being forced to work with the other people involved - and the things she'd like to forget from her past catching up to her. Between facing the AI and the ever-growing reminders that she can't shut out forever, she's going to have to learn how to rely on the people around her whether she wants to or not.

Agents 2 and 4 are trying their best to recover the zapfish, but tensions are running high. Agent 4 decides they both need a little break.

Peppermint and Badger have a picnic date. (Takes place the spring after the events of Piperidine, so almost a year later. Also takes place after Stargayzing read that first.)

In the wilderness outside the city, an octoling wakes with no memories, wondering how to get back to the life he's lived - and just what kind of life that is.

Agents 3 and 4 go on patrol to get to know each other after the events of Octo Expansion.

No memories or idea of who you are isn't particularly conducive to feeling confident, and Henry feels a lot of uncertainty without them. Still at a loss for what to do with his life now that he's conducting the performance, he doesn't feel particularly at home anywhere in this new world. With a little prompting from Eight and Lavender, he learns to be a little more at ease.

Badger and Peppermint go on a camping trip to Mount Nantai. Set after Piperidine and Lone Pair (but has no bearing or spoilers for the plot of the latter)
