I’m pretty patriotic about Kentucky; we got beautiful hiking trails, the gorge, and that wonderful southern hospitality. On the flip side my hilljack boss believes we’re run by lizard people, and we keep voting in Mitch McConnell.
sorry if something like this exists already exists but i didnt see it within the first 6 pages (and im too lazy to go back furhter) and ive never seen it pop up before and im really desperate for human interaction so here we go
but basically um uh yell about the states you live in! or if you dont wanna reveal where you live or just dont live in the US, then um yell about places youve been to or places you used to live or places you know about or just what you know about the states idk literally anything state related except politics because i dont want this to turn into a place of argument but um yea just rant about random things about states because i am really obssessed with US states for some reason!
I have lived in Louisiana all my life and frankly I do not like it, but Louisiana is my little sister in that no one gets to bully her except for me.
Caveat: We are mutually bemoaning the climate. The state is an armpit. Spend more than a few minutes outdoors here in the "summer" (like May-October) and you will probably come in smelling like "outside". If it sounds like I am speaking in riddles, you're wrong- my roommate/bestie moved here from southern California and was shocked the first time she really noticed it. I visited California with her and nearly broke down when we spent all day outside, came back to the hotel, and there was no lingering metallic smell in my hair and on my clothes. We visited Oregon this year and had a similar experience. "Oregon humidity" are you KIDDING ME? I used to wonder how anyone could possibly enjoy the outdoors, but it turns out, a lot of places don't have Outside Smell. Radiant. Luxurious.
I think some people get used to it, but they're living a lie if they think they don't smell like Outside. They're living in denial.
We're moving.
South Carolina is mostly calm and boring right now but in the past it was the most crazy state ever-
-sincerely someone who lived in South Carolina pretty much all xer life
Why Rio de Janeiro have to be so hot :")
I think I still have some kind of luck because I live on the coast side, but still-
You can't drive a mile in Massachusetts before running into another Dunkin Donuts. I once placed a mobile order and when I arrived to pick it up found out I'd apparently placed it for the THIRD Dunkin in the town instead of the one I was nearest to. Coulda sworn somebody took a sip out of it by the time I finally got there to pick it up. >__>
