🔍LOST MEDIA | THREAD🔎

Posted 3 years, 4 months ago (Edited 1 year, 6 months ago) by BIRD

Have a certain video, tv show, movie, short or game thats on the tip of your tongue, or that youve been trying to find but can’t seem to find any info on it? I’ve been there! If so, this is the thread for you!

Share your mysteries to others, or help others with finding stuff about that specific media! I’ve always had a huge passion with this type of stuff so I’d love to help if I find anything of use!

can be super recent, can be super old. Can be a YouTube video, or it can be a tv show, movie, or a video game! ANYTHING.

god I’ve been meaning to make a thread like this for a while but I always forget to :( . This thread is heavily inspired by r/tipofmytongue and blameitonjorge (he makes a ton of lost media discovery videos! Go watch em if you’re interested in that stuff, it’s REALLY interesting and well made! Prob one of my favorites so far atm).

Ok so ive been looking for this mobile game for a long while and i cant find it but im not going to make a single for account reddit just to post what im looking for so im just putting this here

So this mobile game was made probably during that time were pvz and angry birds where at there peak

the art style was soft and had pastel colors and it looks like it was drawn with crayon's

The gameplay was like similar to like flappy bird but there where and hills instead of pipes and there were like points on the hill that you had to collect. It was also like like a racing game??? I think?? But it was 2d game. I remember you had to press down on the hills to gain more speed to get to first place and win. You played as like a baby bird to get to the mother bird to win

I also you could select different colors of birds to play on the menu, also there was a newspaper part that was apart of the start menu too for some reason??

Sorry if this seems like its really messy and not really organized. i really hope someone helps me find this game because I've been trying to find it since I saw that one diamondbolt vid about old mobile games.

SherbetToons

RosemaryBarbie was it like a parody of Jessie J's "Price Tag"?

SherbetToons

Crash_Pilot it's likely not related but I also asked about a tick/flea related show earlier

Not looking for an old show, so I hope this is still OK to post but.... Has anyone, anywhere, seen a show called Butt-Ugly Martians from like 2001? I've never seen this show mentioned by anyone. It feels like my brother and I were the only ones who ever saw it lmao. It was not a good show, but it was my younger brother's favorite show at the time.

PearlPlaya

Okay so

A couple things I kinda remember that I can't quite put my finger on

First one was a show I don't remember much about, just that it was about a kid who iirc could shrink down to microscopic size and there was like, a whole world down there

The other one was a live action (I'm pretty sure),, thing,, I don't know if it was part of a show or just a one-off film but it was an educational thing about safety and there were villains that were tiny people based on different ways you could accidentally hurt yourself

Crash_Pilot

cloudquartz you might be looking for the duck life games! I know that there's a minigame in one of the first four like you described, and all of them(including duck life 5) all start with a newspaper clipping. It was hosted on coolmathgames.com for a while(and is back up through flash emulator!)

Crash_Pilot

@sherbettoonz sorry for slow reply
Don't know if it's what you're looking for as well, but mine turned out to be "A Monster In Paris".

Crash_Pilot

SherbetToons used a z instead of s oops*

LunarLuxia

@Crash-Pilot nope thats not it the art style doesn't Match from what I remember and i didn't have access to the internet at the time
