I didn't see a thread like this and figured it'd be nice to have some sort of chillout chat for writers! ; v ;
Talk about your current writing projects, your stories, planning, plotting, whatever as long as it's even vaguely writing related!
Anyone who identifies as a writer is more than welcomed; there is no strict definition for the word or anything!

I haven't been writing for days because I've been busy moving, but I did find three of my old stories, written between 2012 and 2014. I can see my writing improving with each successive story and its given me such a confidence boost! I'm glad I stuck at it; even though my older writing is awful it's laid the foundations for better things, imo!
Had a breakthrough in my writing recently! Finally have a solid sense of direction with this plot moving forwards. Now I can focus on the here and now, and finish up this draft. Only another 30k words to go! :D

I have been writing as long as I could write. I had stories ongoing in my head and writing them felt better than trying to find someone who would listen to me XD

In the past I have written horror and thriller and Romance.
Now I write more fantasy-based stories as they are the back stories and scenarios of my OC's.

I have recently written a back story to Mari and Luka and how they met. It's pretty dark but explains a lot about them. I have a mailing list open to receive it for free at [email protected]
I have been sick almost this entire month and my mood has been very particularly low, so I haven't gotten much anything written. I did write like... 6 or 7 pages to one project I have and write tons of OC profiles, but I don't feel like I worked really hard this month at all ;; But sometimes you just gotta take a break I guess.
I did write a scene to Sinfonia VN though and I'm really pleased with it, it's one of those scenes I have wanted to write since the beginning so it made me happy to do it now

Don't worry too much. Taking on a lot when writing a novel is... kind of par the course for being a writer. It's totally normal. Probably not the best thing to do all the time but hey who am I to say. After all I do it all the time anyways :D

I'm planning to try my best and challenge myself on the Fictober thing that I saw a few people on my twitter mentioned. The list of subjects/prompts I chose is actually the same prompt list for Inktober but instead of drawing, I'm writing a short fiction using my OCs.
I've already finished today's prompt (Swift), spending about two hours writing in one go. It was a good opportunity to write some moment that I haven't really thought it through and used a few OCs that I have outside of TH.
