Soo I was going to do nano buT there's this scholastic writing competition where if we win our school gets some money so I think I might revise my last year's nanowrimo story to submit it! Any tips on editing from anyone, this is the first time I'm fully going through and editing a completed story hfhhsdh,,,

I'm too burnt out from doing Fictober as I've predicted so no nano for me either. x_x
In the end my Fictober streak ended on the 21st because by that time I was getting restless about RL situation whether my house would be flooded. Second half of October is usually a flood season here where I live due to increasing rain and big volume of water in the rivers that flow from the north where this annual 'low pressure wall' swept through and dumped rain earlier before it reached my area. On the 24th was probably the highest water level in the canal in front of my house. Basically it was only about 20 centimeters left before the water would reach the road level which is also the ground level inside my fence.
Also, it's not easy to come up with a new plot everyday and some day in order to complete the daily keyword in time I had to write about the key moments from my storyline. After writing 4-5 key moment fictions in row I started to feel like 'wait, I can't just reveal all of them in one month!' and decided it might be better not to complete the challenge than revealing all the secrets in my main plot. For the remaining 11 keywords, I guess I'll gradually complete them whenever I can think of a decent plot that fits the keyword.
Time for me to go back to draw more art for my OCs and upload the absent ones on TH while recovering from a cold. Good luck to everyone who participates!

5 days of nano behind, how have you guys been doing?
I just hit 20k of total words, but since I'll aim for 100k it feels like a really small amount compared to my personal main goal, haha. I have been rebelling and I'm trying to finish as my unfinished works as possible, currently one chapter away from actually being done with a novella already. I have plenty of others too though so hopefully I'll get to them as well.
10k nano word day, wish me and my hands luck............ I'm behind my own unreasonable nano schedule so I have to do everything in one go now when I actually have the time to
EDIT // 4K LEFT BUT I FINISHED MY HORROR NOVELLA!!! I'm in some sort of state of shock here I didn't expect to have the willpower to actually finish the work considering how much I disliked it? But the last chapter was actually fun to write and I typed some extra interludes too to fill in the blanks of the main story aaaaa
