TY for this thread! lotsa good chars in here too..... honestly most characters I make probably fall at least partly into the unconventionally attractive category, but Oliv's my fav and I would die for them if I am honest... they're very big w/ resting angry face + extremely point nose.

I have a few who would probably fit here, but I'll start with Markku. His face could probably scare small children? He has plenty of scars, one side of his face has acid burns, four sharp canines, a webbed ear, surgical staples in some of the scars, one eye is quite a bit larger than the other and the other kind of droops. Probably way too many piercings. He's stupidly tall (door frames are not his friend), though he sometimes tends to slouch because screw perfect posture. He also used to let his nail polish get all chipped and gross, but his friend Loren won't let him do that anymore (and will repaint his nails for him because he lets Loren do whatever he wants to them).

But, hey, he's learned to embrace his strange looks and I love him very much. ;;

alu has a lot of acne + acne scars, cuts from shaving accidents, misaligned nose after having it broken as a kid (didn't heal proper) his hair is really greasy, his body proportions are all kinds of off, and his jaw is kinda fucked up but he is still my handsome favorite boy!!!! literally  ilove him so much *heart eyes*

i mean void has a completely flat face with no eyes or nose made of goo. they have a mouth full of sharp teeth and cough up black goo everywhere. not classically pretty.
but i love them

Alexandra has conventionally unattractive features (big nose, buck teeth w/ a wide gap, a belly) but I think shes a cutie!!!!

Probably this bastard skeleton man, not only is he unhealthy af but he's aslo a stinky jerk but oh boy, i love him

Basically, half of my characters aren't supposed to be conventionally attractive, but after drawing them a lot, they feel like that are to me at least)

i know he can def be considered conventionally attractive in some aspects (tall, muscular, almond-y eye shape, etc. the works) but isaac is still also a fat asian dude with a round face and skin blemishes. and he likes to present as gender nonconforming. if nothing else he'd probably get some looks if he was real :^9 but its fine, because he deserves to be admired!!

My baby!! She's not conventionally attractive (and also a minor so Please Do Not Touch), but she has a TOTALLY magnetic personality!

Literally a bug alien, but she's beautiful and confident! Also 10/10 wife material, she's all around great.

seichi has buckteeth, thick glasses, a soft belly, a slight double chin, eye bags, unruly hair most days, and oily skin but he's still my fave boy ;w;

Parable (whose coding appears to be a bit broken, mental note to check how to fix it). She's considered pretty within her own culture, but I think she looks too weird to be conventionally attractive. She's stout, with large, wide feet from habitual barefoot walking. Has a bit of an upturned piggy nose as well as quite heavily hooded eyelids. Plus the fact that she keeps herself bald so as not to obstruct the tattoos.

And also Henry Newman/Julia Wright, the Newman-persona specifically. He looks feminine, which might be conventionally attractive in some areas nowadays if it goes with a sort of youthful boy-ishness. But realistically speaking he's too old to look like a bishounen. He's just got very soft chin and cheeks, and a high voice for a man. Ideally he still seems to exude a sort of attractiveness though, due to the military background and the way he interacts with people.

And I think I probably posted them in some "unattractive OCs" thread as well, focusing on the Julia-persona, but honestly Julia doesn't look too bad to me. She had an androgyous appeal when she didn't slather herself with excess makeup.

ok yeah I find my OC Curia attractive. I don't think she's the sort of person a lot of people would consider as such--she's 53, looks at least 5 years older than that, and has fairly unconventional features, but I just. yknow. am into the look she has.

Also more for others than myself, but many people have said they find Honourless hot and you know what, that's completely fair.

Veronica might be more attractive in these modern times, but when she was alive (1920s), she wouldn't really be considered fashionable.

She wears clothes that fit her form more, she's kind chubby and didn't really fit the whole "skinny" look they wanted then, and she wears a little too much makeup sometimes.

But honestly I think she's gorgeous.
