River isn't very expressive and doesn't talk much unless he really likes or trusts someone. Ironically he's a pretty funny guy despite it.
He was just born with a RBF poor boy. And he's not very good at socializing so he scares people off most of the time u.u
Shiray is not one to smile much he often has a very serious stoic facial expression, he's pretty much mr angst after all so smiling is not allowed haha.
Anya never smiles, unless she has to go to a planet where smiles are required by tradition. She works as the assistant of a pacifist leader and they visit a bunch of planets but only one requires for Anya to smile. Smiling makes Anya's mouth hurt so she tries to avoid doing it. It's also not easy to make her smile either.
