Have any OCs inspired by fictional characters?

Do you have any characters whose design(s) were inspired by fictional characters? Like a cartoon character, book character, movie, etc. I'd love to see and know why you chose to make a design inspired by them!

I find that making OCs inspired by favorite fictional characters just makes me love them so much more. I have a few:

Kara, who was unintentionally inspired by Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender (friends pointed out the color scheme and name similarity so I kind of just went with it), who prompted me to make Zakari, who was then inspired by Zuko from ATLA as well. There's also Skye and Diego, who were inspired by Star and Marco from Star Vs. The Forces of Evil. Lyam and Dalila were loosely inspired by Adrien and Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug.

I'd love to know if anyone else has fun making "inspired by" characters as well!

Idk if this counts, but one of my favorite creators has a lot, and I mean  A L O T of animal-based OCs and it got me inspired into making one :0

Lady Red Korsithk

Red was totally inspired by Raptor Red (the book and the titular focal "character" therein) because I loved paleontology/dinosaurs as a kid. 8]

Babaroga MegiW

Based on Babaroga who's some hag witch from slavic folklore
Babaroga was part of my childhood, cuz elders would scare me and siblings with Babaroga, saying "she will come for you if you are gonna be a bad kid"
Babaroga was def made up for that reason haha
And so I wanted to make a character based off her, n I like the result

Valin Summers Shadowzim777

Valin's occupation of creating and selling magical potions was actually inspired by Yzma from The Emperor's New Groove. But Originally, Valin was a character I made when Disney had this show airing on Disney Channel called American Dragon Jake Long. He was suppose to be a fan created character. The son of one of the major antagonists of the show, the Dark Dragon.

Ignazio Keravnos Jovian

this dude and his brain parasite Grougranak are so much Sadlygrove and Rubilax from Wakfu it's downright embarrassing.  I gave the show a rewatch recently and it was so obvious I was like, screaming

Toadstool FlowerfawnCreations

man, Toadstool wasn't originally supposed to be based off of or inspired by any characters
but as I continued using him in roleplay and developing his personality n' such, I figured he seemed a lot like Murdoc Niccals from Gorillaz

so now I've kinda embraced that and tadAAaa, now he's sorta based off of Murdoc haha

Azul RandyMace

Cronus from Class of the Titans

"Purple Man" aka Kilgrave from Jessica Jones

A little of the Devil from the movie Forbidden Zone

Raina Simmons Ghanima

Raina was inspired by Jessica Jones, mainly the tv version of her.

Megumi Minn

Megumi is inspired by Yumi from Rurouni Kenshin, though honestly she was based slightly on Yumi's backstory, rather than design. But the design has some elements as well, which I didn't realize until I had it commissioned LOL

Maggie GoodKnight

Kinda loose Herbert West inspiration

Sev Angel-soma

This guy is a Hamtaro/Animal Crossing based character but his design and personality are from Severus Snape from Harry Potter!

 Sailor Techa Wilby-Chan

She isn't inspired by anyone but people say she looks like Hatsune Miku. Honestly the only resemblence to Miku is her hair, her colors and her skirt. AGAIN Techa wasn't inspired by Miku a lot of people say she looks like her though

I didn't originaly think about this but just to get back at the people who say Techa is hatsune miku I made her evil version be a popstar and Miku basically is a popstar https://toyhou.se/7967125.sailor-techa/9022436.blanc-evil-techa-

Daxel skeletalobscurity

My boy Daxel right here's design was based off of an assignment I did in like, 7th grade when we were reading The Wizard of Oz and we had to draw what our interpretation of the characters looked like. I ended up liking my scarecrow doodle so much that I kept him as a character! Obviously Daxels current design is obviously a lot creepier than what it originally was when I first made him but the concept is still there lmao
