The Prompt (If needed):

[OC] finds themselves in a quiet, rustic-looking town with busy individuals and floating things hovering about left and right. Magic fills the air and they feel drawn to one source. The source? A tall, brown-haired man with pointy ears and a wide assortment of golden earrings. He seems to not be busy now. What shall [OC] do?

If anyone wishes, I am willing to make links between Gold and your OC, provided they did interact with one another. You can be rude to Gold, scare him, etc. But Gold will usually be polite to a tee.

"I... yes. I understand. My apologies for an unnecessary apology, dear friend. Changes in mood often make me wish to apologize."

Gold watched the blind witch preform her magic in nothing short of awe, his brows lifting as he got to witness a bit of it firsthand. Mila's shadow was malleable, unlike anything he'd ever seen before! At least, before his own eyes. During that year of hell one of the underlings of that horrid parasite was rather talkative with him and spoke of how the parasite could move like a shadow. However, that was nothing like Mila was doing now.

The moment Mila finished the spell, Gold breathed, "Whoah. Never have I seen a manipulator of shadows before, Mila. That was amazing, and quite creative.

"And be sure to tell Amare to stop training the children with real weapons! I am not going to tire myself with injuries that could have easily been avoided!" The Elf called after someone he had just finished healing, before noticing a flash of blue light. What was that?!

Turning on his heels, he was met with the visage of a seemingly young human girl. He could not sense magic within her, so, according to current rules, he approached and offered a restrained, slightly tense dip of his head.

"Welcome to Kingdom,  Human. What is your purpose here and how did you arrive?"

Immediately handing over the crystal, Gold offers a short laugh and a nod. It was about four pounds of pure energy inside an otherwise dull crystal. "It is heavy for a crystal of this size, but you may see it. This one stores energy with the intent of adding extra power to a shield based spell."

"Um... Hi... Oh my stars... I'm sorry i teleported her on accident My Duel Disk is playing up... Um... I'm Chai" She bows and her Duel Deck falls out of it's box and her 40 card deck is spillt all over the floor.

Mila paused for a moment, caught off guard by his awed words. It had been a long time since someone had last reacted positively to her magic, let alone gone as far as to compliment it, and the experience brought a ripple of joy over her. "Aha, thank you!" She responded, a smile crossing her features. "Bringing shadows into my spells tends to make them easier for me, and gives me better control, hence their incorporation into what are usually non-shadow spells like that one. Manipulating them is as innate to me as magic itself."

Harumi Robotica GameGeek002

Pops out from Chai's Duel Disk and stands at her full height of 5ft 4 and helps Chai pick up her cards. "Let me help you Mistress Mazaki!"

"Innate abilities, you say?" Gold inquires, his magic happily buzzing in resonance with the joy of his friend.  He had the innate ability to heal, and all of the citizens of Kingdom could manifest basic constructs of intentless magic that could be used with intent to achieve helping or harming. Now there was more to talk of! "We have many people with inborn talents, but none of an element of such abundance as yours. I have an inborn strain of magic that allows me to heal others easily, and then there is the ability of my brother as well. Candor does not have one and thus relies on spellmaking to preform his magic. He is like you, in a sense! Both of you use your strengths to make the most of your weaknesses, and I cannot help but applaud you for it."

Gold was moments from rushing in to assist the human in picking up her cards when a figure seemed to emerge from the weird bit of technology attached to the human's arm. He took a staggered step back, his figure tensing slightly. His glove-covered hands sparked with a golden light as he worked up the nerve to ask the human of the new figure (He couldn't sense them, so he assumed that the new one was a human as well) and the strange gear.

"And what may a Duel Disk be, Chai? And who is that, the person who came from it? Kingdom does not possess any technology of the sort, and we have not seen anything similar to it in the cities of our allies nor our enemies."

Mila's face lit up at the praise, listening closely to what he had to say. This Candor person sounded more interesting the more she learned of him, and she hoped to meet him at some point.

"I really appreciate your kind words," she told him, her smile still present. "Still, I wish you could have seen my magic before it was damaged. Now that was praise-worthy," Mila shifted in the chair a bit to be more comfortable. "I was able to do many shadow-based spells before I was even taught to do them, just.. instinctually. Others took me only a few attempts to understand. It's not quite so easy anymore."

Chai Muto GameGeek002

"I'm from Earth be it the Ritual Dimension as our Earth is split between 5 dimensions. We use Duel Disks to play Duel Monsters a super fun card game or it's supposed to be fun some asswipe componey called Defcon 9 is using the technology to try to recover the dark magic that was used to almost destroy the world back in Ancient Egyptian times."

Harumi Robotica GameGeek002

"THERE VILLIANOUS ANTICS WILL. NOT. STAND!" She clenched her teeth as her eyes went from yellow to red... briefly then she looks down with shadowed eyes. She appeared human but had a kind of monotonus voice it was quite echoy but not over bearingly so. "SOL Technologies, Sector Security, Industrial Illusions and Kaiba Corportation will make them pay PAY DEARLY!"

Gold ShiftingFoxx

"I do wish I had seen the full extent of your magic as well," Gold, still sitting on the floor in front of the table, stifles a chuckle. He was quite easily influenced by the magically transmitted emotions of others, especially his friends. "However, I am more than impressed to see how far you've come in making the most of what is left. I seem to make lasting friends who do that."

Meanwhile, from outside the home, a very dull magical presence was steadily getting closer and closer to the home. Gold could sense it quite readily, and his head turned towards the door. He knew that strain of magic. Traces of it were everywhere. Turning back to Mila, Gold states, "It would appear that Candor is nearby. He is probably coming home soon, would you like to meet him?"

GameGeek002

"Ah... My condolences?" Gold tilts his head to the side in slight confusion, keeping his hands clasped together. "So a card game with technology is being used to introduce a corrupted magic back to your world, if I am correct in my understanding. However I fail to understand why humans continue to drabble in things hidden." The Elf glances over to Harumi, still quite uneasy about the person emerging from technology. She had a certain quality he couldn't quite place, almost like...

"Again, I apologize for intruding, but is your companion of human creation? I cannot sense magic within either of you and some qualities of your companion make me quite uneasy."

Harumi Robotica GameGeek002

"I'm made by SOl technologies and am artificial intelligence I may look human be it an odd coloured one but our creators wanted us to look realistic."

Mila Bran Umbrase LemonTeaRain

Mila picked up on the approaching magical presence, though she didn't pay it much mind. All of the magic outside was unfamiliar to her, and from this distance it was hard to tell who was important, who was just a person walking the streets and even at this point what was just fancy magic keeping something afloat. Still, once Gold pointed it out, it became easier to notice the similarity between the dull presence outside and some of the magic inside.

"I'd love to," Mila responded with a nod. "He sounds like a very interesting person from what you've described, and it would be a joy to meet him myself." It would be a good idea to get familiar with the people in the house quickly, even if he didn't turn out to be that pleasant - being able to recognise people was important, and in a place like this where magic seemed so abundant in its people, she was certainly going to take advantage of that.

LemonTeaRain ((Sorry for the late reply, had a busy day today and got a little stuck on what to say! If you want me to rewrite this later I can lol))

"Indeed, he is quite interesting. I shall redirect him from his usual trek to the kitchen for tea in order to come to converse with us, alright?" Gold beams, still buzzing with happy energy even as the dull, more muted presence of Candor entered the building and immediately stopped moving. The field of his magic around him gained a confused twinge, as if expressing his emotion, while the Witch's voice remained monotonous.

"Hello, Gold," The voice of a newcomer speaks, calm and collected. "You are not usually here on your days off. Who is this?"

"This is Mila, my friend! Come, let us all know one another better, Candor!" Gold lights up in happiness, it only growing as Candor agreed to join them and take a seat on the loveseat.

Chai Muto GameGeek002

She's my Duelist AI. She helps me make the right descisions with my cards i currently have and help me come up with stratagies to outplay my opponents. All of the best Duelists have one. ShiftingFoxx

"I understand, then," Gold hums with a nod of his head, keeping his hands clasped together in front of him. He glances from Harumi to Chai, then back again, before speaking again. "Would you mind showing me how the game works? We do not have many games in this Kingdom, let alone such a high-technology one as Duel Monsters. And while I do not know much of.. Other dimensions... I am sure I could at least try to help you return home."
