"I... yes. I understand. My apologies for an unnecessary apology, dear friend. Changes in mood often make me wish to apologize."
Gold watched the blind witch preform her magic in nothing short of awe, his brows lifting as he got to witness a bit of it firsthand. Mila's shadow was malleable, unlike anything he'd ever seen before! At least, before his own eyes. During that year of hell one of the underlings of that horrid parasite was rather talkative with him and spoke of how the parasite could move like a shadow. However, that was nothing like Mila was doing now.
The moment Mila finished the spell, Gold breathed, "Whoah. Never have I seen a manipulator of shadows before, Mila. That was amazing, and quite creative.
"And be sure to tell Amare to stop training the children with real weapons! I am not going to tire myself with injuries that could have easily been avoided!" The Elf called after someone he had just finished healing, before noticing a flash of blue light. What was that?!
Turning on his heels, he was met with the visage of a seemingly young human girl. He could not sense magic within her, so, according to current rules, he approached and offered a restrained, slightly tense dip of his head.
"Welcome to Kingdom, Human. What is your purpose here and how did you arrive?"
Immediately handing over the crystal, Gold offers a short laugh and a nod. It was about four pounds of pure energy inside an otherwise dull crystal. "It is heavy for a crystal of this size, but you may see it. This one stores energy with the intent of adding extra power to a shield based spell."
