The Prompt (If needed):

[OC] finds themselves in a quiet, rustic-looking town with busy individuals and floating things hovering about left and right. Magic fills the air and they feel drawn to one source. The source? A tall, brown-haired man with pointy ears and a wide assortment of golden earrings. He seems to not be busy now. What shall [OC] do?

If anyone wishes, I am willing to make links between Gold and your OC, provided they did interact with one another. You can be rude to Gold, scare him, etc. But Gold will usually be polite to a tee.

Harumi Robotica GameGeek002

"Impossible i only advice i do not have my own deck but i can..." She presses a button on chest and a menu pops up showing a blue hologram of all the Duel Monster cards avaliable. A posh american somewhat high voice was heard as a man with long gray hair appears as a floating head on the side of the database. "Greetings Harumi 5738 What can I do you for..."

Mila Bran Umbrase LemonTeaRain

ShiftingFoxx (no worries at all!)

"Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you, Candor." Mila greeted politely, trying to play closer attention to the witch's emotions and tune out her friend's intense joy. She didn't turn her head to face him nor make any of the attempts to conceal her blindness like she had done towards new people on the train; she knew that she was safe here, and she had no reason to care what he did and didn't know in that regard.

Chai Muto GameGeek002

"Wait Maximillion Pegasus has reformed i thought he was evil..." Mum and dad lied to me. She looked over to Harumi and sees Pegasus's face on the hologram. She was still very iffy sbout the fact Pegasus J Crawford was on the hologram. She watched carfully. ShiftingFoxx

"It is a pleasure to meet you as well. Mila, was it?" Candor's magic lost its confusion and brightened up, but not nearly as bright as Gold's.  His voice, however, remained eerily monotone. "Where do you hail from? I have visited every witch tribe this side of the Mountain of Kings, and never have I seen you."

Gold, meanwhile, continued to remain silent, but happy. Candor did not often be around him, and he did not often have time to be around Candor. He eagerly awaited conversation, ready to step in if things got boring. Or dull.

GameGeek002

"I'm afraid I do not.... understand nor know of anything you speak of, Chai. Would it be frowned upon to go to the Third Royal Garden where you can explain your situation better? And perhaps you could explain your technology as well..." Gold speaks in confusion, bowing his head slightly.

Mila Bran Umbrase LemonTeaRain

"That's because I don't hail from those witch tribes - or a witch tribe at all, actually." Mila responded, trying to understand his emotions from what was provided by his magic alone. "I come from a place called Iorus, just... Actually, I'm not entirely sure which direction it is in relation to here. It's quite some distance away, at the very least."

Harumi Robotica GameGeek002

"Pegasus was able to use the holographic technology to revive his wife. She died but Pegasus wouldn't give up... and then he..."

Chai Muto GameGeek002

"Yeah but he captured my farthers grandfathers soul and other peoples to help him with that goal Killing a person even though it's temporary is still evil!"

Candor's magic, which hadn't changed in emotion but did dull a bit, settled as the witch nodded slightly. "I see. Perhaps we could travel to Lorus once we find it? Gold tends to get lost for days at a time and the next time we see him, he has a new friend. Or I have to remove a mass of corrupted magic that he still won't tell me the origins of."

"Did I not tell you?" Gold buts into the conversation, a wave of unease rolling off of him. He glances from Candor to Mila, touching the scar upon his face. "I thought I had given you the gist of what had happened... With... Or perhaps.... Nevermind.." The Elf sighs, crossing his arms and offering a false chuckle. "It was quite a...painful injury. I am still indebted to you for figuring out how to remove it before it succeeded in corrupting the purity of my magic."

"I thought I had considered the debt repaid after you gave me a room inside of your home?"

"You did? My apologies, I must have thought I did not do enough to equal what you had done for me."

"No need for apologies,  Gold. Not even Jordys apologizes as much as you do," Candor comments offhandedly,  his magic gaining a curious, almost seeking sort of intent that didn't affect anyone else. He changes subjects as well, returning to one that would include Mila. "Tell me, what is Lorus like? Is it like Kingdom,  with an almost entirely magic population? Or is it a kingdom with a good sized human population as well? Is it a kingdom?"

((I'll reply to everyone else in a little bit! ^^))

Gold ShiftingFoxx

"So that part is old news, like history?" Gold asks, head tilted to the side. "I do not condone what you claim the head did, but I do hope things are a little better in your world. Yes?"

Gold turns, surprised by the strange cat-thing, and bows to them with a warmhearted smile. "Why thank you, cat-creature. I am glad to know my world is interesting to you."

Mila Bran Umbrase LemonTeaRain

Mila listened to their conversation in silent intrigue, trying to piece together what exactly they were talking about. The unease from Gold told her enough to know she shouldn't ask outright, and so instead she resigned herself to listening and and reading between the lines as well as she could.

Once Candor's attention returned to her, she sat up to respond. "It's a kingdom of many different races, some magical but many not. To my understanding, the basis of how itself magic works in Iorus isn't the same as it as here - for example, elves where I come from often cannot even sense magic, let alone use it, though they do in fact have it." Mila explained. "There is a lot of magic in general, but when compared to Kingdom it feels practically magicless."

Harumi Robotica GameGeek002

"Unfortuatly not now an entire team of evil people called DEFCON 9 are trying to use the dark magic from ancient Egypt to capture the life energy of anyone who gets in their way for some kind of secret experiment they've been working on..."

Chai Muto GameGeek002

"What Harumi said thankfully the Ritual dimension has not been as affected due to it being lesser known as we use Ritual Summoning and Link Summoning both are not really used in Duel Monsters as much, Ritual seems mainly obsolete and Link is losing popularity. So if DEFCON 9 were to attack us it'll be very unlikely however Fusion Synchro XYZ and Pendulum are currently the paralel earths being targeted. ShiftingFoxx "Pegasus and the other figureheads of the dimensions are working hard to eradicate the threat."

The Nameless Witch (Nameless) shinyzura

"Magic this, magic that. Have you lot nothing better to squabble your lives over?" Professed a brooding figure who came from heavens know where - perhaps the nearby forestry, considering her tattered and dull attire. Mila was subject to the most scrutiny from the Witch's gaze, or at least what could be surmised from the shadow her large hat cast.

"That Kingdom should stay that way. Society is better off without the arcane, lest they are to cast away their lives." ..Tough - not to mention, strange - talk, coming from somebody dressed that as what was essentially an icon of magic, no matter the realm.

Harumi Robotica GameGeek002

"That's just rude... besides our worlds are mainly science driven magic is very limited." She looks over at the figure who just appeared not even the slightest bit intimidated.
