Nathan's really good at singing and the piano. He's been practicing other instruments but he still has a long way to go. Thanks to his ability with air magic, however, he's got perfect pitch and a natural affinity towards sounds. Unfortunately, the same magic would make his hearing extra sensitive towards loud sounds, so he tends to soften the blow towards his ear drums.
I'm a sucker for anything related to music, so are any of your characters in a band? Do they like to sing (whether they're any good or not)? Can they play an instrument? Lay 'em on me. :)
I'll start off-- most of my characters are musicians, because they're from a story about a battle of the bands contest, but this guy is Izzy, the lead singer/lead guitar in a punk band in the contest. He's more loud and enthusiastic than he is good, but that's all you need to be punk, right?
Ayyyy, I've got a whole Visual Kei band, The Glass Rose, and they're all musicians. BD
There is Dormez-vous and he plays several instruments as well as sings.
Arjun is a bard, so naturally they're musically quite talented. Coming from a family that specializes in entertainment - music, singing, etc - they can not only sing but play several different instruments, since their family expects them to be good at many different things, which is sometimes pretty stressful. But they still love making music~
I lowkey cannon that this boy can sing (being a wingy boi and all lol) It has yet to come up in his story yet though.
yngvar is actually a professional musician! he's a multi-instrumentalist and takes a large span of inspiration from the music that he actually enjoys (heavy metal, progressive rock, folk, etc.). he used to hold a band (for many years) that he later disbanded, he also has a solo career and contributes himself to other projects. he's very experimental and adventurous when it comes to composing his own music, maybe enjoying his sense of freedom with music a little too much..
