Flint here is an idol and is extremely talented at singing but has no other instrument skills for now!
I'm a sucker for anything related to music, so are any of your characters in a band? Do they like to sing (whether they're any good or not)? Can they play an instrument? Lay 'em on me. :)
I'll start off-- most of my characters are musicians, because they're from a story about a battle of the bands contest, but this guy is Izzy, the lead singer/lead guitar in a punk band in the contest. He's more loud and enthusiastic than he is good, but that's all you need to be punk, right?
Zander is a struggling violin child protege. Since his death, he’s been out of music for a while, but still resents his ex for taking away his opportunity to get into an orchestra.
Oh! Bumble Bass fits, I think! He used to be a DJ before his head was stolen! He can't really perform without it (it's a speaker), so that's why his life fell apart. But he's really good!
Lyric plays piano and trumpet! I also have Sam, who sings and plays bass in her own band!

Beaven - he picked up on learning guitar in high school with a guitar he stole from a night club
Sal - he hates to admit it, but he LOVES to sing
Zara - she plays drums, and started a mini band in middle school before her band's guitarist moved to a different town
Serafino - he's always wanted to play a woodwind instrument, but never got the chance to; but he can sing pretty well
Quincy - he plays violin!
Eden - they used to play the steel guitar and piano when they were little. They have since forgot how to play piano as well as they used to, but they are on and off when it comes to practicing the steel guitar nowadays
Basil - he plays guitar, but as of recently hasn't really been playing for an unspecified reason. Boredom? Just unhappy? Who knows? He just doesn't really play that much anymore

Got into music per her asian parents request, she studied the shamisen and folk tunes but later modified her instrument to have only one string and basically play djent as a way of rebel :)
