Show me your OP characters

Sometimes you just need a powerhouse for a story.  Maybe they are the main antagonist and needs to be super strong, or maybe they are a all powerful God, or maybe they are a total looser that cannot control their abilities and accidentally destroys things!  Whatever the reason OP characters exist and that doesn't mean they are automatically bad!  OP is usually used in a negative way but as long as you balance them out there is nothing wrong with having a character that can easily win a fight!

Garanzo aaawhyme

Garanzo is most likely the most powerful real character in my story universe. There is a 'god' type creature that is no doubt 'stronger' but it's more of a mythical being and has no real relevance to the story and doesn't really do anything.

But Garanzo is definitely someone I made intentionally OP. He is physically and mentally indestructible, and is also one of the only few that can wield HellFire. Everyone fears him, and for good reason.

There's a lot of OP characters in my stories, like Char (he is the head honcho baddie in the human realm. and is OP on most levels. However, if his mask comes off, he's completely blind and in... blind agony! :D ) and Grieve (he cannot die and can control people if he gets his blood inside them, but he also isn't that strong physically, and hides behind an ominous persona, so people don't notice this) and yet somehow I always try to one up the next OP character... so there's always gonna be a character stronger than the next. That trend sort of stops when it reaches Garanzo though (for now).

He is just not. nice

 Dain Aarix

How OP's OP?

Whatever way, whoops, Dain literally contains an alien god so he qualifies. He can, theoretically, see the future and also destroy entire planets. He can't in practice. He can't do diddly squat in practice. But the potential is there if he would just stop crying for 3 seconds

Also, I mean, Ryn is overpowered, that's the whole point of him. If the average human has magic power equivilant to a watch battery, then Ryn's a nuclear reactor. But I don't count him as OP because 1) it's impossible for him to ever utilize more than a fraction of this power himself, and 2) he's not universe-shatteringly overpowered. Yet.

Alaric Nartrium

Alaric became a kind of god after his death due to his hard life and good deeds, he controls magic and weapons like no one and easily became an important figure in the academy. He's become the leader of many communistes and is seen as a kind of king by a lot of people.

However, he's way weaker psychologically~

Thanatos (Spirit Thanatos) lophiusdragon

thanatos is a powerful god of death

hes also extremely lazy

Aithash Wintersun fairlead

aithash is stupidly powerful (against anything with like. blood n skin) and could murder everyone horribly but is just doesn't care enough to. hes got gay vampire syndrome

Lucille Lunetha lilligant

lulu's mom is a deity's high priestess, and therefore an avatar of that deity's magical power; lulu inherited that propensity and potential, in part just because of being part of a magical bloodline, and in part as a side effect of certain curses and binding spells placed on her mother and her mother's travel companions in service to said deity's other, less benevolent half. eventually lulu succeeds her mom as high priestess; it isn't an inherited title, but rather one lulu earned, so she gets another dose of literal godlike power on top of her existing potential.

that said, lulu has absolutely no idea how crazy OP she has the potential to become due to some amnesia curses placed on her mother, so she, a stupid, loud, over-dramatic chuuni, is just constantly radiating sparkling light magic glitter due to the excess power within her, and everyone just kind of assumes it's due to How She Is

Reid McKinley ★ jukeboxes

There's not much on his bio yet, but Reid is literally god. There's not much I can add to that.

(Except that he attacks with green fire, and can manipulate most things, but not people's bodies, minds, or souls. He also does not have the ability to delete worlds.)

Thane Hag

gfdgfhghfg i love making OP characters because it just gets to be ridiculous. like my own special version of a dragon ball z episode :''')

atreyu comes to mind right away, in that he's not a god, but he is as strong as one, and has the 'edge' of mortality but never seems to be pushed over that precipice (like it's not even an issue lmfao).
downside is he doesn't really act conventionally human-like, doesn't have his own personality-- much of one, anyway-- and thinks of himself as a weapon... or maybe 'a machine' would be more apt if he were made in a modern/futurish setting. destroyallevil!bot2000, if you will.

R'jhera AlleycatIrony

he's. .. not necessarily OP in the sense that he's powerful, but he's OP in the sense that he's a perfect thief. a perfect assassin. perfect at every bad thing he does, and yet no-one hates him bc he's got a front to be a v likable person

he's also OP in the sense that my bf has two characters that can and will kill him but i'm always like oh but this, but that, he's too perfect to die

OP IN THE SENSE THAT HE CANNOT BE KILLED BC HE'S TOO FUCKING GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES

Aano'ra atempause

god that created the entire world, they could entirely destroy it as well

too bad they're too busy taking a million year long nap while the other gods are busy fucking shit up and wrecking the world they worked so hard for lmao rip

Naoko VincentVanGoat

I like having OP characters, yeah I get why others might complain, but eh. They're fun, and my characters are for me. Though to be fair, they never get in situations that'd cause issues with others with their OPness. In fact, the most OP ones are like that for laughs.

Naoko is probably one of my strongest outside the elementals and ghosts. And she could probably beat a few of the ghosts. Not that she has reason to. But yeah her Aura power is super strong, and something only a few have.

Aurora is probably stronger, but not by such a drastic amount. Naoko would love to spar with Aurora with both at 100% but that'd be dangerous. Cause she also has that aura power stuff, or Ki, whatever you wanna call it, same shit.

Akane I'd say is pretty OP, drawing inspiration from Toku heroes and yeah those are pretty OP. But she's still not Naoko/Aurora level OP, but yeah chances are you piss her off enough, or are planning something evil, expect a kick and to explode from said kick. Though despite her having Kuuga as a form she can take, there'll be no nuking a city block with her rider kick.

The Elementals are easily my strongest beings overall. Being made of their elements, all commonly available. Being super fuckin hard to kill, all sorts of OPness. But, outside Inazuma they never really needed their power to defeat anyone. Aquaria would be the strongest I've figured, but you have to fuck up to get her at that level. You hurt Anima, and well yeah you're done.

And a lot more, but yeah those are the most obvious ones. My OP stuff tends to be "Wow I would have a hell of a time trying to kill them" more than power itself, as I really doubt any one of mine could say, destroy a planet. Maybe a city if you really fuck with Hestria. Which at that point you'd deserve an award making her that mad somehow. But both strength and hard as fuck to kill OP stuff can be fun~
