A simple and sweet concept for those who are second-guessing their Character designs. Simialir to a Character Rating thread, this will more focus on the Design rather than the backstory or any information of the character. That way you can secure a great design before you set them up in a story or even an RP. (I do realize many people prefer to get their story done before locking down on a design, but this is for those who don't or are just looking to get advice on their designs.)

❀Try to avoid rating the same character multiple times.
❀The Character you post to be rated must have a Full-Body piece of art.
❀NSFW Characters are allowed to be shown here, just give a warning in your comment.

❀Ratings are given out of ten with an explanation. If you don't do so, you will get a warning.
❀Only post one character at a time by using the IC option.
❀Do not post Characters that do not belong to you.
❀Please put effort when it comes to rating a character. Don't just slap in "I like their colors!" as the only reason. Go into depth and try to find both the pros and cons of each design. If you want people to explain their ratings with good reasoning, do the same. A minimum of 3 sentences would be a good rule to go by when it comes to rating a character.

EXPLAIN RATING: I do love the colors, though the face design looks a little plain compared to the rest of the character. I would suggest adding some accessories or maybe even spicing up the face with a unique mark? Maybe a cute black mole in the shape of a heart under her right eye?

This is probably just personal taste but I don't really like anthros with realistic facial structure but cartoony expressions. Something about that feels very uncanny. I like the colors though.

Please note this isn’t an attack on you personally! Your character is great, but the design just isn’t my thing. I like the eyes, black schlera tends to look really cool and the iris choice is unique. The colors give me retro vibes but with ”cool” colors rather than warm. And the accessories are cute! But I’m not a huge fan of transparent hair unless it is incorporated well (not saying yours is bad, but I’m picky with transparent body parents heh) And the skin color looks ashy. Not to mention I’m not really a humanoid artist.

EXPLAIN RATING: honestly for the most part he just looks like a normal dog to me. The black mark around his snout is very unique but I'm not the biggest fan of it as it seems a bit too precisely placed for a natural dog character. I love the inclusion of the accessories tho!

EXPLAIN RATING: I really like her fur patterns and how they match the 3 most popular ice cream flavors (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry) which totally fits her personality and occupation! I think her overalls are a bit plain, but in a good way considering her fur is detailed - not everything can be super detailed, so the simplicity works in my opinion.

I like the purple eyes but I’ve seen many goblin humanoids with a forest green skin tone and brownish hair. The snaggle tooth is a nice stylistic choice tho, sort of reminds me of a werewolf grin. I feel like I’ve seen many designs similar to yours which isn’t a bad thing but may not sell well since the humanoid marketplace seems to cater to cutesy animal-eared pastel-themed designs, but of course I assume you don’t mean to sell him for now. Overall a nice design, I’m not well versed in the humanoid art community so forgive me if I sound harsh!
For NP, Naught’s bio has slightly unsettling imagery in his mood board section so beware.

EXPLAIN RATING: Character design looks overall really pleasant to look at, nothing too bright and eye-watering to look at (Which I honestly just love when it comes to colour palettes lol) and although there are some neon thats in the design its used really minimally hehe. Also the clothes are simple, yet effective. And although theyre a cat, they arent just like other generic cat ocs with the same hair and heterochromia and stuff like that (Which idk i just dont like that much seeing how cliche it is) which makes the design refreshing. The mouth is cute, and my only problem about it is that i kinda dont know how it works lol-

EXPLAIN RATING: Not often do i see a humanoid/anthro giraffe character and i find Yam's design to be unique! The feature of ossicones on her design definitely stood out to the rest of her. Outfit definitely does a good job with potraying her classy but comfortable style, though it kind of lacks that royal air even with the cape and crown in mind, maybe it is intentional due to her character . Her overall design is simple and easy on the eyes which i appreciate. Also love the fact that her tail is in the shape of a crown, what an adorable detail! The only thing i have qualms with is the indication of a giraffe. keep in mind this is a small nitpick. While indeed her ears and ossicones shows she's a giraffe, it was a bit hard to tell she is one until i looked through her description. I think giving her the pattern of a giraffe would probably help. But overall she has a well rounded design

RATING(1-10): Funky space pirate, 10/10 would recommend.
EXPLAIN RATING: But seriously, she consists of all the traits i adore in characters: funky looks, maxed out charisma, space themes and setting, interesting view on people around her manipulative yet understanding of value of personal connections, moral ambiguity and hopeless romanticism. And the fact that she is "The pirate who stole the moon" makes it all so much better!

EXPLAIN RATING: Vampire dude!! Super cool hair but overall his design isn't really my thing. He's a bit plain which i think is the biggest point subtractor for me, i like busier and more colourful characters. He's a little uncanny(?) but im guessing thats because of his species. His clothes and their colour scheme are pretty cool, they fit in with his occupation. Overall theres not much critique on my end, i think he's pretty fleshed out and his design is unique enough

7/10 I have to put my own bias aside here because I am not a fan of anthros, but that aside, I think the design is very detailed and creative and I think manages to capture the vibe you were going for well with the bright coloured but creepy animatronic thing.

EXPLAIN RATING: I'm more of a humanoid fan so ferals aren't my forte however Neptune is so freaking cute and their color palette is so perfect ;0 I like how they have an anthro and human form as well!! I love that Neptune likes to sit under a blanket (It's my favorite thing to do).
