This is a question game specifically for talking about characters' physical appearances. Their outfit? Their hairstyle? Their scars? An accessory they always wear or a sword they always carry? You get the idea.

To help clarify what kinds of questions are allowed in this game, I've made a list of correct and incorrect examples! Hopefully this should help out anyone who's stuck thinking of a question!
Format example:
Person 1's post: Why does Spike have a necklace of house keys? Edit: Adder got the scar during a criminal job that went a little wrong.
Person 2's post: Where did Adder get that scar from?
You can post IC if you want the next person to question a specific character, or you can post OOC and let them pick for themselves. If you post IC, try to stick to characters that have something noteworthy in their designs - while there's nothing wrong with more plain characters, it can be hard to think of an interesting question about them.
-Rules-
1. Stick to the theme of the game. Your post must include at least one question related to the character's design. You are allowed to ask non-design questions as extras.
2. Don't be rude or passive-aggressive towards other people or their characters in any way.
3. Wait for at least 3 people to post before you go again (unless over 12 hours have passed since the last post, then it's fair game for anyone).
4. All characters must have at least one, SFW art piece. This means characters with no art, or only 18+/filtered art, cannot be posted. You are allowed to skip people if they have no art or only 18+/filtered art.
5. Please do not post the same character repeatedly. This is to lessen repetition of the game.
6. Do not skip people (unless they're breaking Rule 4). Even if the above user has blocked you, that is not valid reason for skipping them.
I actively monitor the thread for rule-breaking, but if you think I missed something, please PM me and let me know.
If you break rules: Depending on the severity of the situation, I may either PM you with a warning or immediately ban you from the game. Regardless of severity, you can be banned if you repeatedly break rules.
moryonenn Is there a reason why Cation's face markings look like a mask on one side? Was it intentional or just a coincidence?
Aside from just making him unique from most other fnaf animatronics, there is a reason why Pascal is a tree. I made him when me and a friend were messing around on one of those "fnaf oc generator" websites because we were bored. One of the things the generator spat out was something like "a green tree animatronic" and I thought that was a really weird animatronic so I challenged myself to make it work. I like to think I did :>
@tastycakessnails Pascal...Pascal is a tree...is there any particular reason?
No particular reason she's gray, it's just easy to color. Blue is one of my favorite colors, so that's a big part of that design choice. It doesn't really mean anything other than that.
@InkyArtz I love your sona Inky's colors! Is there a reason she's cyan and grey or do you just like those colors? Do they mean something deeper?
Dakota's creation I kid you not happened because I was watching Stan Winston's School of Character Arts and listening to Bruno Mars XD The result was a dancing raptor with a jacket, and he just never left my character set.
The inspiration for his UV stripes came from a freind of mine who builds fursuits. She sent me a link to a fur that glows under a UV light and I though it was the coolest thing ever, lol!
The general explanation for his colors is that he's a modern raptor species named Tyrannonycus that behaves a lot like birds of paradise. The males are flamboyant and the females are comoflaged.
I take a ton of inspiration from obscure myths, old stories, and cryptids for my story characters. Like Tremor, he's my Jabberwocky, and Drakie's a styx/wendigo, and Artifex is a Quezocoatl!

I love your detailed character designs! For Dakota, why does he have florescent glowing stripes? Also, where do you get ideas and inspiration from when creating creatures (if anywhere in particular)?
That's a good question because I've never really thought about it. XD I think he must put the scarf on while in human form, and when he shapeshifts, it simply stays on him.
As for the others: Adder's parents have always been concerned about him, especially when he started taking more and more dangerous work, but they didn't stop him because they needed the money, and they know Adder is skilled enough not to be caught. When he was caught by the royal guards, they didn't actually hear about it until afterwards, and by then he'd been hired by the Queen. So it was more good news than bad.
Did adder's (https://toyhou.se/1114638.adder) parents ever worry about him being imprisoned due to his stealing? what did they do after he was captured by the royal guards?
@RandoNerdy no it's just a tortoiseshell. it's not uncommon for a female cat to have exactly those colors. i actually referenced a photo for her design

OKAY this was difficult because there are a ton of characters I find cute of yours, you just have great color palettes and adorable designs all in all! But the question I have is for Gemini. What was your inspiration for creating him? Was the inspiration the colors, or was it a certain species? I'd love to know!
IT'S FINE DON'T BE SORRY! YOU'RE SO SWEET! But Addar has feathers all over in his hair because he is half crane! Because of this, he is based mostly off of the Sarus crane, as well as loosely based off of the Grey crowned crane. He was born with that hair, but he is contimplating on dying it! He is femanine because he just not only likes femanine clothing, but likes to embrace his curviness by just wearing what he wants. He also treasures his hair a ton!

@candiedaliens are there any reason as to why Aloe has plants over her body? Why is she so green? And what's with the eye on her leg? Any particular use of it?

It was hard yes, especially a hat to hide her horns since she live in a populated city filled with normal people. I might want to revamp either her design/concept/story ahah. Her horns was originally there for the aesthetic before i developed her. There were a time where i didn't draw her with horns. However, i decide to put her horns back for the sake of the story. I'm very satisfied with her current design! (but not her current reference because oh my god that art looks ugly). But i kind of regretted changing her shoes and pants. It just doesn't look natural
Given Allium has horns, are they ever making it harder for you to design practical headwear for her, or does she ever need any in the first place? Were the horns an original part of her design, or did you decide on the idea of adding them only later? Also, is there anything in her old design you regret changing when redesigning her, or are you all-around satisfied with the newer design?
Honestly I just really liked what kind of dynamic stuff I could draw with a long braid, haha. But I don't think a long hair would really be beneficial for Fyren, as they're always wandering around and traveling from place to place, so braid is the most practical option right after simply cutting it short. I like to think Fyren keeps it short because they know Miras (one of the three highest gods of Taros) has a long hair, and Fyren sort of associates it with the divine, which is what they also are (even if just demi-divine).
I tend to choose the colours of my OCs simply by testing things out and going "well this looks very nice" so there isn't really anything deeper going on there! I just really like brown as a color as it's usually easy to combine with just about any color, especially warm shades!
I'm going to ask about Fyren.
Why did you pick a braid for her hairstyle? Wouldn't a long and free head of hair be more dramatic? Also, brown is an interesting colour. Was it to make everything look less black? I hope these Qs are okay. ^^'

I picked it bc it was pretty distinctive, and it originally came from a character I made long ago to represent me online lol. My only complaint is it gets mixed up with a head injury quite a lot, so people often draw him bleeding. XD

To the person below: Asuka is a boy, in case you would ask :3c
Asuka was born a boy but he had this specific body type all his life. However as time passed he let his hair grew longer and kept it that way. Someone gave him this maid headband while he was lost in another time period after he served tea and pancakes to a group of people. There's not much more info about this but I should work on his profile later to include that part.
