Session 11.5 - a painful change
Session 11.5 ( The party wakes up to two revelations - firstly, Lysandra sleeping on Altarion’s chest, a ring gleaming on her hand. More alarmingly, someone with massive wings is wearing Onyx’s armour and sleeping in their bedroll. As they wake up, the party quickly realises that this is Onyx, disoriented and confused, and more than a little upset by their unasked-for transformation. Lucia recognises Onyx as a Celestial Aasimar - chosen by a god to be transformed into an immortal Aasimar with greater powers. Onyx, even more upset by this and claiming not to be the right person for the job, eventually calms down a little after petting Snowball and changes the focus to Lysandra and Altarion’s engagement ( although some explanation is required for Rupen, whose experience of marriage in his village is much simpler and charmingly wholesome ). Lysandra explains that her parents don’t know yet, and she’d appreciate us keeping it quiet until things are more settled. The party splits up, with Lysandra hunting down her own breakfast, Onyx and Altarion wandering off for a chat ( Onyx to Lysandra and Altarian to Jhin ), Jhin looking for a bath and Rupen, Merla and Lucia left to look after breakfast. )
