Having three sets of clothes laid out on the bed, Diem was currently debating his life over which one to go with. He had finally settled into his new life in the ship after a few days. Finding the quickest path to school that had the least amount of traffic, slowly becoming a regular at the restaurant that tended to sit him and Ryou at the bar, learning his way around the ship and especially the kitchen, and, possibly most importantly, learning that Ryou wasn't exactly shy in his own home. There were plenty of new notes to put both in his diary and journal lately.

"Just pick one and bring me some popcoooorn!" Malice wailed in her saddest tone from the side of the bed. She had finally shown back up conveniently once all the stuff was put away and around dinner time. Sighing, Diem looked over than ooonce more before deciding on the black pajama pants with red cat paws and a plain white shirt. It wasn't anything too fancy, but he was excited to be spending all night this weekend with Ryou. After getting Malice her popcorn as he wiggled out of one set of clothes into the other.

Lounging on the couch with Dina laying across the back of the couch, she had grown quite a bit in just a few days. She was still a very small bean though, easily able to hide in Ryou’s clothes during school hours (unlike Cas and Charmeine who were quite the big dragons).

“Where is Diem?” She asked Ryou who was watching some movie previews as he waited, a big bowl of popcorn off to the side along with a few drinks to keep everyone from getting parched and having to get up and leave the movie time.

“Probably getting dressed, he did say he wanted to get dressed in his pajamas.” Sitting in some light blue colored pajama bottoms that looked like they had little emoji clouds on them and a white tank top, Ryou was retraining himself to wear clothes around the house after Diem caught him walking around in his birthday suit. He wasn’t embarrassed at all, but that light red that was across Diem’s face made Ryou feel a little bad.

“It’s been forever thooooough!” She huffed, settling herself in the small blanket on the arm of the couch near Ryou’s arm as she waited, but was trying to be patient with her rider who minded not.

“He has to look best for our date now, you can’t rush perfection~”

Caaasually sneaking around to the kitchen to get Malice her own bowl of popcorn, Diem felt bad making the other pair wait longer already. As much of a butt as his dragon was, he still liked pampering her a little. Mostly because half the time he squinted and told her no. Only half.

When he did finally come out, he couldn't help but grin a bit at the matching clothes, or at least the tops. "Hm, is this where I'm supposed to jinx you?" Diem debated out loud as he wandered over to sit himself on the couch next to Ryou. He did have to admit, he had spent most of the time leading up to this weekend debating how close or how far was appropriate proximity. At least for him, the incubus was a better friend to him than any of his cousins had ever been in a matter of days.

Buuuut. The problem was those butterflies that were popping up more and more. One would think it'd be great living with someone you were crushing on, but it only made his life harder. At some point he'd have to at least ask if Ryou was seeing anyone by any chance. Nonchalantly... hopefully tonight if he could find a good opportunity that was less suspicious than staring up at the sky suddenly.

Continuing to make himself comfortable on the couch as he waited, Dina was wrapping herself up into a burrito by the time Diem came out finally. The soft purple blanket was wrapped around her as she purred a bit, her tiny hands sticking out of the blanket as her eyes slowly blinked at the screen. Perking up as Diem talked, she wiggled a little, getting scooped up into Ryou’s Arms as he moved to make room for the cat boy who was just as cat as normal, with his twitching ears and tail doing what they did best.

“Only if you want to wear a tank top instead, I think you’d look rather adorable in one~ Though i suppose you already look pretty cute as you are now.” Teasing him, he smiled as he pulled the blankets from the back of the couch, covering the two of them in a rather large one as he stopped going through the movie previews and showed Diem the ones he had narrowed it down to.

Hearing the little noodle from the couch, it pleased Diem that she was picking up on the purring more. He didn't really notice how quickly she was growing up himself, still that adorable small that popped out of Ryou's clothes sometimes.

Those forward ears were giving Diem away again though as he plopped down after the compliment. As hard as he worked and tried to hide it, they'd more often than not give away his embarrassment even through a smirk. "You always say that, does it even matter what I wear or you think I'm just a cute cat?" He was already thinking of the simple answer the sweet incubus would give, but liked poking back at them.

He wasn't expecting to be quiiiite as close as they were, sharing a big soft blanket. Not about to complain however, the young cat looked pretty intently at the movie choices instead. Going with one that had an interesting title since he wanted it to start up quickly.

Thinking it over as Ryou wiggled into his spot, wrapping his arm around Diem to pull him closer into the warm cuddle time that was about to be had, he acted as if he was thinking but he knew he’d always find that cute cat boy so adorable no matter what he did or wore. But he couldn’t let Diem know just that, even if Ryou didn’t mind being super gay at times with the older school boy.

“I guess you are right, you are a pretty cute kitty. So you’ll always be cute no matter how much or little you wear.” Nuzzling into the other male’s softer black hair, he picked the movie that Diem chose and made sure the blankets were wrapped nicely around the two of them, enjoying this nice fluffy time.

Starting in on his own purrs that Diem did as well when he was getting that nice attention. He was doing his best to keep that bit of distance, but that went out the window with the nice snuggling. Giving in more to those nice feelings that made his stomach fluttery was becoming a common occurrence. "Mhmmm. I don't think you've seen me in very little," he chuckled, scooting that little bit closer so that he could leaning up against the kind pale rider. "But just in case don't go talking to Malice about something like that, she'll have a field day with picking on me until who knows when." She was a good girl. Sort of. But gossip about how cute the person he had a crush on was dangerous, he didn't want her spilling that he had a crush on Ryou just yet. On accident, or on purpose.
