Incandelons (incandescent + eidolon) are notable for their strange anatomy, their mask-like faces, and the lanterns on the end of their tails. An Incandelon’s mask commonly resembles the face they had in life, but it can look like anything!
Every Incandelon was once a humanoid or otherwise sapient creature. Upon their death, they were given a choice. They could enter the afterlife, leaving everything they knew behind, or they could stay, becoming a spirit guide tasked with guiding lost souls to their final destination. They picked the latter, and became what they are now. Incandelons cannot run away from their duty, but they can choose what to do with it. Many Incandelons have hobbies or other jobs on the side.
Incandelons and Spiritkind are both open species. You can make as many of either as you want with no restrictions.
