Mask: Can have any design as long as it covers the whole face. It can be any material, and can be painted or decorated with plants, gems, or accessories. As it is magical, the expressions on it can change. The eye holes may fully glow or have a glowing “pupil.” They can also be empty or absent. Mouth holes are allowed, and can similarly glow or be empty.

Masks can be as simple as a sheet of paper, or as complex as a puppet head or even a machine.

Incandelons make their own masks, so the material and complexity of the mask may say something about their personality, interests, and skills.

Lantern: Most often at the tip of the tail. Can be any shape and material as long as the light inside can be seen. The light source inside never goes out and can appear as a literal flame or be more stylized.

Chest mark: All Incandelons have a marking on their chest that is a different texture from the surrounding area. It can be any simple shape, or multiple similar shapes, and can glow. It signifies the Incandelon’s health, and the color will dim or disappear if the Incandelon is sick or injured.

note: the chest mark, pupils, and lantern light often match in color, but this is no longer required.

Body: Incandelons have elongated anatomy in both their upper body and their middle. Their is no upper limit to their length. Incandelons are usually furred but may have feathers, scales, bare skin, or even spines. Any colors and markings are allowed. Glowing markings are also allowed.

Arms: Usually humanlike. Variations such as paws or bird feet aren't impossible.

Hind legs: Usually skinny and toeless, but this isn't strictly enforced anymore! May have hooves.

Tail: Usually long. Incandelons with short tails may have more trouble guiding souls. If there's no tail at all, the lantern can be worn on or attached to another part of the body.

Not allowed: anything super anatomy breaking, magical/elemental, or animal traits not stated earlier to be allowed. this includes: wings, fins, real ears, giant holes in the body, fire hair, etc.

Mimicking illegal traits is ok, such as putting clumps of feathers on the shoulders like “wings”, or giving an incandelon fur tufts that look like ears.

Your Incandelon can have any magical powers/abilities that you wish as long as it does not affect the design.

Incandelons can vary greatly in body type and size.
