Incandelons can now have ANYTHING on their design, but major variations from the base anatomy are less common lorewise.
You are no longer restricted to the mutations on this list, but they may serve as a guide.
Mutations
Mutations are strange changes to an Incandelon’s anatomy that are usually caused by a disturbance in energy around the place a new incandelon is being formed. An Incandelon can also gain mutations later in life by interacting with a strange object or being granted one by a deity.
Animal trait: Almost any animal-related feature that Incandelons don't normally have, such as pawpads, fins, tentacles, wings, and many more.
Cloaked: An extra layer of fur and skin bunches up or drapes in unnatural ways, resembling clothing. Usually resembles sleeves, capes, or hoods, but others may be possible.
Multi-Soul: Two or more souls reincarnated into one body. incandelons with this trait have multiple heads, masks, unique chest markings/soul colors, lanterns, and tails; number depends on the amount of souls. multiple limbs is also allowed, but not required
Capsule: All or part of the incandelon’s body becomes transparent and glasslike. The glass can contain anything. The glass can have cracks or even be broken (ouch!). If the glass is in the chest area, there should still be a chest marking.
Doll body: The incandelon’s body now appears to be made of porcelain, fabric, resin, plastic, or other material that a doll could be made of. Additions such as buttons, stitching, or ball joints can be added. Masks and lanterns can be made out of any of those materials without a mutation.
Swarm: Small ghostly animal shapes swarm around the Incandelon’s lantern. They generally match the Incandelon’s soul color.
Sprout: Small plants cling to the incandelon. They may be on the mask or lantern as well. Plants can be real or fantasy.
Gilded: Crystals, rocks, and/or veins of metal grow on the Incandelon’s body.
Elemental body: Part of the Incandelon’s body is now made of a non-solid substance, such as a lightning mane, slime leg, or fire tail.
