REFLECTIONS PROMPTS: 50 SD BONUS
Prompts to showcase your Incandelon’s backstory. They do not have to be done in order.
Art for Reflections prompt submissions must be clean lined, colored, and fullbody, with at least a simple background. These prompts can only be done once per character.
Writing must be at least 350 words.
1. The Past. Show us what your Incandelon was like before they died. This prompt does not need a background.
2. The End. How did they die? Make sure to use proper warnings if it is upsetting or graphic
3. The Path. What happened after they died? Did they end up in the Spirit Realm, or were they an earthbound spirit? How long were they a ghost for? There is no set design for souls before they become an Incandelon, depict it however you want
4. The Choice. Who gave them the choice to become an Incandelon? Was it another Incandelon? Was it the Grim Reaper? Or was it a more vague entity, like a disembodied voice? Why did they choose to become an Incandelon?
5. The Materials. Depict the soul crafting their mask and lantern, or finding the materials to do so.
6. The Light. Depict your Incandelon lighting their lantern for the first time. This is also when they gain their form. Was their appearance shaped by anything specific?
7. The Purpose. What is your Incandelon’s purpose in this new life? What do they hope to do? Do they remember their past life? Sometimes an Incandelon forgets who they were.
8. The Form. All Incandelons have the ability to shapeshift. Does your Incandelon do this, or do they like to stay as is? If they do shapeshift, do they prefer to be human or anthro? Does their human form resemble their past self at all, or did they choose to forge a new identity?
9. The Job. How does your Incandelon go about their psychopomp duties? Do they have specific methods? Do they guide a specific kind of lost souls, or do they try to help everyone?
10. The Home. Where does your Incandelon live? Did they find a place for themself in the spirit realm, or do they try to fit in back home on Earth?
