I simply don’t feel like maintaining this species anymore, but I would never want to make it die forever and have people unable to make new ones.

So Incandelons are going to be an open species now. You can make as many Incandelons you want with no restrictions

No updates will be made to the group going forward.

Making a couple somewhat major changes to the species

•FTOs can now make a common Incandelon for free! If you have never had any MYOs or incandelons, you are eligible. 

No “slot” is created, just go to the Design approval thread to get your design approved.

•MYO slot price in the shop has been reduced to 300 SD

October prompt will come if people are interested? I stopped making em because nobody was doing em.

This month’s prompt is MASKS

What does your Incandelon’s mask mean to them? Is it representative of them, showcasing their identity for the whole world to see? Or is it instead designed to conceal who they truly are? Or maybe they just thought it looked cool?

This is more of a writing-y prompt and gets kinda abstract when it comes to visual art but if you choose to make a drawing, as long as its focused on Masks somehow it will be ok

Sorry for the inactivity lately. I just didn’t really know what to add to the world

But I’m thinking of changing some things. I want your input.

1. World name

Since Incandelons share a world with Spiritkind, who I want to give more appreciation, I’m thinking of changing the world name to be more general.

Maybe something like Reapers’ Isle or The Spirit Realm but I’m open to suggestions

2. Shop prices

I’m mainly concerned about the 500 SD price for current-owner MYOs.

The price was made that high with the expectation that users would be really active in the “game” and would all have a ton of souldust. That.... did not happen! Which is okay, but the myo price doesn’t rly feel that accessible considering that and the fact that 500 souldust isn’t Super easy to get

I was thinkin of lowering it to 350 but if you have other ideas I wanna hear it. Will be higher than 100 though cuz that’s the discount price

3. Closed species status 

I do not plan on fully opening the species However. I was thinking of maybe loosening the “closed” aspect a little

a. all FTOs get a common MYO for free (semi-closed)

b. EVERYONE gets 1 free common MYO monthly. mutations and additional MYOs are in the shop as normal (semi-open)

c. Common incandelons are free to make and unlimited and don’t need to go through an approval process. Mutations are still limited and designs with them must be approved first (mostly open)

One issue with this one is that it makes common slots defunct but idk if that matters cuz this is a tiny species and they don’t really have any “value”

d. nothing changes

Depending on how people feel about 3, 2 might not even matter dndjdjsdj

I am Not intending on killing the species it’s just that so few people are interested in them that I feel kinda weird justifying them as “closed”

Also, since nobody entered the February prompt, and the 300 Souldust prize has gone unclaimed, it will instead be raffled among those who respond to this
