Trinkets

This page is subject to change/mostly just an idea and may be reworked or removed entirely

Trinkets are ARPG items that each have a unique effect. Some may give the Incandelon it is given to a special temporary trait. Others may give soul dust bonuses when depicted in art, or give other ARPG-related benefits. For trinkets that give traits, the Incandelon must be wearing or holding the trinket in order to be depicted with the trait.

Trinkets that give traits will be applied to a specific Incandelon, but can be taken off and re-applied to another one. Incandelons can also share their trinkets/effects for one-off drawings. Some adopts may come with unique trinkets that will never be available anywhere else ever again.

Trinkets that give game bonuses and don’t effect an Incandelon’s visual design do not need to be given to an Incandelon.

Trinket list: (subject to change, and they still need visual designs)

design trinkets:

Magic mood ring: allows an Incandelon to have an unlimited amount of palettes! color changes are usually triggered by something out of the Incandelon’s control; usually mood, weather, or seasons. markings and traits must be the same.

Shifter’s charm: allows an Incandelon to shape-shift into anything they want outside of the normally allowed human/anthro. could be a teacup, a tree, a fox, or even another closed species!* markings and colors should overall be the same.

you are allowed to depict your Incandelon in alternate forms, but they are only canon and able to earn soul dust if you have this item.

*to avoid complications, if used to give a shapeshift form of another closed species, this trinket can no longer be removed.

Illusion cloak: allows an Incandelon to have a different visual appearance in regard to anatomy, markings, and traits. should not be used to give traits higher than the Incandelon’s rarity, and colors should be roughly the same, but may be shifted around.

Staff of sparks: gives a magical effect to an Incandelon appearance, such as sparks, particles, glitch effects, or small flames.

Mushroom hat: lets an Incandelon drastically change their size and proportions as they please.

ARPG trinkets:

Infinite Souldust Pouch: gives a bonus of 10 souldust when depicted in any art piece.

Lucky coin pendant: fetches you an extra raffle ticket when depicted in a monthly or event prompt.

Chance dice: when depicted in a monthly or event prompt, it is randomly rolled whether you get double, triple, or quadruple the earnings (including raffle tickets and item/myo prizes!) OR you lose everything and nothing is earned from the piece.

Enchanted compass: increases chances of finding rarer things in explore. does not have to be drawn, just state that you are using it. breaks after 5 uses. (what’s explore? idk why are you asking me)
