General Information

• All Mochibuns must be approved by the mod team and have a Masterlist Entry on mochibun_station. If they do not have a Masterlist Entry, then they are not associated with the species.
• All Mochibun Toyhouse profiles must be linked to their Masterlist Entries.
• A link request will be sent as soon as the Masterlist Entry is made. Those who delete the link or refuse the link request 2 times will be unable to make a Mochibun for 3 months.
• The link requirement was put into place in October 2022. Those with Mochibuns made before that date will not be penalized if they do not have the Masterlist Entry linked, but it is highly encouraged to request links.
• All major redesigns must be reapproved.

• All ownership changes of premades AND MYO ticket must be reported.
• To transfer an existing mochibun's ownership, comment on their masterlist entry using the correct form.
• The new owner must respond to confirm to make the transfer valid.
• Owners are expected to follow and respect species lore.
• Creativity is encouraged, but a Mochibun’s backstory/abilities should not majorly conflict with species lore.
• Ex: Can't say your Mochibun is best friends with Chang'E.
• Mochibun can have alternative species versions including other closed species versions.
• Approval for other closed species versions of a Mochibun design is between you and the moderators of that closed species.
• The Mochibun terms of service will specifically apply to the Mochibun version of your character, it does not extend to non-Mochibun versions.
• The Mochibun version of a character cannot be separated from the non-Mochibun version(s) unless a notable design change has been made to at least 1 of the designs that are being separated.
• The Mochibun mod team is not responsible for any copyright violations committed by community members.
• Designers are strongly discouraged from heavily referencing franchised characters when creating Mochibuns, but it is not forbidden to do so as designing characters is subjective.
• Designs found to have coppied another person’s oc will immediately result in a penalty. The severity of the penalty will vary depending on the circumstances.
• Anyone who uses art of Mochibuns as NFTs will be Blacklisted.
• Anyone who uploads art of Mochibuns to art AI websites, apps, or other software will be Blacklisted.
• Mochibuns can be used for personal and commercial projects, including as VTuber ocs IF permission is gained from the mod team first.
• Before being used commercially, the mod team must make sure what you are doing is compatible the Mochibun species lore.
• Those who do not get permission but use their mochibun commercially anyways will be penalized or Blacklisted depending on the circumstances.

Rehoming Information

• All ownership changes must be reported to mochibun_station.
• There is a 3 day cooldown for all premades and MYO tickets, you cannot change the ownership of the premade or ticket until the cooldown is lifted.
• Designs from free MYO events or raffles have an extended cooldown period of 4 weeks/1 month.
• Those who prematurely trade will be unable to make new Mochibuns for 3 months.
• MYO tickets and Add-Ons purchased with currency from the Mochibun mod team will not be refunded.
• Those who chargeback items will be Blacklisted. Please purchase responsibly.
• MYO tickets and Add-Ons can only be resold for USD if they were purchased by the current owner using USD.
• If the MYO ticket/Add-On was recieved as a price, gift, or trade then it can only be gifted or traded.
• If you resell the ticket, you cannot resell for full value + add-on. Taking partial payment + add on is okay.
• Ex: Rim Slot (20 USD) for 10 USD + art.
• Premade/already designed Mochibuns do not need to be appraised to be sold.
• You can resell your Mochibun for any amount with respect to the original designer's TOS. The Mochibun mod team does not condone breaking any designer's TOS.
• If you sell your Mochibun, you must mention how much the sale was when transfering on the Masterlist. This rule is meant to help future owners more accurately track the design's worth.
• Raffle/prize premade Mochibuns automatically come at a USD value of 0 no matter how much art they have.
• If ownership changes, it is the previous owner’s responsibility to update the masterlist and inform the new owner of species resources.
• If the previous owner does not update the Masterlist Entry, they will be unable to make new Mochibuns for 3 months.
• If the new owner does not respond to confirm the transfer, they will be unable to make any new Mochibuns until they do.

Voiding

• Voiding is removing the design from the species.
• Designs cannot be voided within 30 days of the current owner gaining ownership.
• We request that a voided design doesn’t retain 100% of the species traits in future usage.
• Redesigns are not required to void. Nothing will happen if the design stays the same. Since many Mochibun ear pattern/eye shape combinations are unique, we request the voided designs change in order to help break associations of the design with the species going forward.
• Voiding has a 24 hour grace period from time of voiding for the voiding to be reversed.
• If the void is stopped during that period, the void will be reversed. After the grace period, re-adding the design to the species will require a MYO ticket/add-ons as necessary.
• Voided Mochibun have their Masterlist Entry on mochibun_station hidden.
• Only moderators with access to the masterlist account will be able to view the hidden entries.
• No information will be deleted from the entries, nor will the information/etc on those profiles be touched.
• A key to the voided entries will be provided to the current owner of the design upon request. Keys are only given to the current owner of the design.
• To void, please DM mochibun_station.
• Direct messages to moderators or comments on the world requesting voiding will be ignored.

Restrictions & Penalizations

• Anyone who tries to get around rules on the species TOS using alternate accounts or third parties will face consequences depending on offense.
• Consequences range from being banned from making new Mochibuns from 3+ months to being Blacklisted from the species without ability to appeal.
• If used, all third parties will be penalized as well for involvment though punishment may be leaner depending on level of involvment.
• One person can own a maximum of 10 MYO tickets at one time.
• This counts for all ticket types (MYO sale, bakery, raffle, gift, trade, etc).
• If you have 10 tickets and are eligible to recieve a ticket as a prize, you will receive flour instead.
• Penalties will be given to those using additional accounts and/or friends for more tickets.
• There is a limit of 1 offical design per person per month. Offical designs are adopts made by species mods and/or guest artists.
• Those who are prohibited from making new Mochibuns cannot buy MYO tickets and/or Add-Ons until the penalty period is up. They also arre ineligible from obtaining official designs.
• They can still participate in ownership transfer of preexisting Mochibuns. Buying, selling, trading, gifting, etcetera.
• Penalized persons will not be personally notified of their penalization period due to mod team size. A list of currently penalized persons is posted on mochibun_station.
• Penalty periods will not be reduced. If you think you have been wrongly penalized, you can appeal to mochibun_station in a direct message.
• Those who are Blacklisted cannot interact with the community or own Mochibuns.
• Those who trade Mochibuns to Blacklisted persons will recieve penalties.
• Mochibuns owned by Blacklisted persons are still valid Mochibuns. They just can't be used within the Mochibun community.
• Blacklisted persons may have the ability to appeal their status after a certain amount of time depending on offense.
• A list of Blacklisted persons is posted on mochibun_station.
