🦐 2-Year Anniversary Event!
The event will begin on August 4th, which is the official birthday for the species! We'll be having raffles and an MYO event to celebrate. Make sure to tune in! :)

🦐 IMPORTANT: INACTIVITY NOTICE
I (Thea) will be inactive during July 16-29. Here's a few things happening because of it:
- MYOs will be uploaded by Cim on her alt, cosmic_cimsoc and will be credited there.
- Shops will be
CLOSED for the time being. This includes Terra's Tent, Archie's Antiques, Theodosius' Laboratory, the Donation Hall, and the Shrimp Voucher Registry. You can still make a purchase request, but I cannot get to them until I get back!
- Please note that if you make a request today, I cannot guarantee I will be able to get to it ;^;
- Jay is also inactive this month so the Treasury updates might be a little delayed (however this shouldn't be too big of a deal as the shops are closed)!
- The Masterlist will be a bit behind. Designs will still be approved by Venn (vernorexic) as usual!

JULY SHIFTER OF THE MONTH
It was a close race, but Paeon (owned by VibrantFangz) won the title of Shifter of the Month! Paeon will have a multiplier on her Artfight profile this month (more details in the Artfight Bulletin), so if you draw her, you can get extra Scales than usual! (Plaque will be sent soon!)

ARTFIGHT EVENT
This month, if you draw Shrimpshifters for Artfight, you can earn Scales! Additionally, we'll have daily raffles for a multiplier, as well as prizes for user and community milestones!
On the Discord, there's an additional multiplier raffle you can join, and you can also pick up roles to easily ping the other team.
Even if you aren't playing in Artfight this year, you can still contribute to the event!

🦐 HOW IT WORKS
Whenever you make an attack against a Shifter (or a Medumorpha!) you can submit the attack to a thread. You'll get 10% of your attack's points back in Scales, as well as contributing to individual and community goals where you can earn additional prizes!
First, submit your characters to Artfight!
Add your Aqualian characters to Artfight with the tag "shrimpshifter" so that we can find you through tag search!

Next, find others to fight!

🦐 HIT MILESTONES!
As you draw Shifters, your Artfight points will contribute to a community prize milestone, as well as your own! Milestones can be made in number of attacks made and points made. The meters can be seen here: https://toyhou.se/~forums/46828.2023-artfight/415616.milestone-tracker

You will receive 10% of your attack's points back in Scales.
For example, if you earn 70 points, you will receive 7 Scales.
If your attack was worth 68 points, and your Scales would be 6.8, we'll round up to 7. If it was 63 points, making the Scales 6.3, we'll round down to 6.
🦐 DAILY MULTIPLIER RAFFLES!
To get a Scale multiplier, you can enter the a raffles for a chance to get multipliers added to your attacks and your characters! If you win a multiplier, the Scales from any Shrimpshifter attacks that you make will be multiplied. Likewise, your characters will multiply the Scales of any attacks that are made on them that day!
July 1-8: 1.5x
July 9-15: 2x
July 16-22: 2.5x
July 23-31: 3x

I'll make an official detailed bulletin on July 1st for the Artfight Event, but we are hosting a little extra fun for your Artfight season this year!
In the event, if you draw a Shrimpshifter (or Medumorpha), you can submit your art for Scales. The event will feature "milestone" prizes, for you yourself and the community, as well as daily Scale multiplier raffles that will boost the amount of Scales per piece you draw—and art that others draw for you!
You can check out the forums a bit early if you'd like, and fill out your Member Profile in the Artfight Member and Shifter Catalogue!

Welcome to the Aqualis Summer Kickoff Event, where we reveal a new, limited time species in the World! This year, we have released the Medumorphas, which are half-jellyfish people that live exclusively underwater.
EVENT INFORMATION
This event is a free, two-week MYO event. That means, you have about two weeks to design and submit your MYO to Design Review! The official cutoff for submissions will be June 25th at 11:59 PM site time (you can check the site clock at the bottom of any Toyhouse page).
To go along with the event, we have a few Premade raffles happening! Click on the icons to go to the design pages and enter!
GET AN MYO!
Anyone can join in this event and receive a Medumorpha MYO by doing the following:
- Post a bulletin linking to this event!
- Join the World so you can receive updates!
That's it! And when you're done, comment below with a link to your bulletin.
DESIGN AND SUBMIT YOUR MYO
Using the Medumorpha Trait Set Page, design your MYO! All aspects of the design are required (1 Scale Pattern, 1 Body Mod).
Please submit your finished design to the MYO and Design Review thread! You should also upload your design as a character and add them to the World--it's easier for us if you do that in advance, but you can do it after your design is approved as well.
NON-EXPIRY MYOS ARE AVAILABLE!
While these MYOs from the event will expire, you have some options for non-expiry MYOs if you would like to design an additional Medumorpha!

Additionally, you can purchase an MYO from Terra's Tent, with either DeviantArt Points or Scales, our species currency.

SUMMER KICKOFF: MEDUMORPHA EVENT
This year, our summer kickoff event will be held June 10th through the 17th! The theme for our June event is introducing another species that lives in Aqualis, and this year it is the Medumorphas, which are half-jellyfish people!

As they are not the main species in this world, they are only available for a limited time and do not have a rarity system! You can use any of the traits on the trait set (with a limit for Body Mods).
Medumorpha MYOs will be available in Terra's Tent during the whole month of June, for 7 Scales (or 700 points).

The June Shifter of the Month is Valentina, owned by Raincoat!

TOO MANY MYOS?
Here's a few options for you!
Resell to Archie's Antiques. You can receive the MYO's (or any item's) worth in Scales.
NEW! Donate to the Donation Hall. This is a place for FTO to be able to receive MYOs or other items through donations!
Make a post in Central Square. This is the forum for advertising services, and you can also sell, trade, or give away your MYOs here! Just make sure to read the rules. You can also make a post in #shifter-searching or #general-ads in the Discord!
Merge MYOs in Theodosius' Laboratory. If you merge MYOs, you can get trait set combos or higher rarities. This is a good way to decrease the number of MYOs you have as well as get rarer ones!
Gift one to a friend. Have a friend that you think might be interested in the species? Gift them one!

ROLL OPTIONS
1 Roll = 1 Scale, but 5 Rolls costs 4 Scales, 10 Rolls cost 8 Scales, and 15 Rolls cost 12 Scales. You must pick one of these increments (1, 5, 10, or 15)!
You can either roll a Regular Roll or a Risky Roll. The Risky option has bigger prizes, but also a greater chance of earning nothing!
You can roll down 3 lanes, which each have slightly different prizes. View the lanes on the Live Casino Google Sheet!

Among the prizes available are: MYO Tickets (Regular, Deep Sea, and Spooky 2022), MYO Rarity Upgrades, Scales, Remnants, Shrimp Vouchers, and Premade Designs.
